My dad passed away yesterday and I have been having a real hard time processing all of it.

On one hand I am so happy for him to pass away in peace and no pain. And on the other hand I feel ripped off of so many memories I would have with my dad.

Looking back through my pictures with my dad I can say that moving to Florida was good for my relationship with him. It made it to where when my mom and dad would come out to visit I got so much one on one time with them. I will take that over seeing him more often but less connection.

My dad was really to himself most of the time but if you gave him energy and try to get him to open up he was so great to talk to.

I am going to miss my dad a lot. It sounds weird saying that since I really didn’t see him a lot, he’s my dad and will always hold a place in my heart that no one can. I respect him for a lot of things, and while he could drive me crazy sometimes, there’s no one I would choose over him. He helped shape me into who I am today. I love you dad, thank you for the great life you have given me. by @kevingtenney

I’m still thinking about Feb 21st and the days surrounding it. I couldn’t have asked for better vibes and people to celebrate Halle’s wedding with. It truly felt magical to me. Our first Florida Brighton a Day Event was a huge success! We had such great support from so many of you, thank you! We raised over $9,000 for the foundation and felt the love from everyone. Thank you, we couldn’t do what we do without you. ❤️ by @kevingtenney

I am so humbled at the support we have received for our pickleball fundraiser on Nov 1st. We had a lofty goal of selling 50 banners for the event. So far we are at 38, only 12 more to hit our goal. This video shows our first 20 sold with the others still in the works.

I have the best friends ever! My buddy Parker flew out from Utah to help me (basically did everything) put in a pickleball court, Firepit, more parking, and concrete in the backyard. All together we poured about 55 yards of concrete.

We also had a little fun with our families and went on a python hunt. His brother Bart and his family came out to help too and we wouldn’t have been able to do it without them.
My backyard is a disaster right now but I can see how beautiful it will look and can’t wait to finish putting on the top coat of the pickleball court. Who’s up for a game? by @kevingtenney

Today is such a sad day for our family. We had to put down our dog of 9 years, George. We got George about 4 months before Brighty passed away and he has been the best dog we have ever owned. He was always so obedient and the happiest dog. I am going to miss him laying on the floor in the most inconvenient place, swimming in the pool, teasing Mo with his toys, laying on me on the ground, bumping my arm up to pet him, stealing food from the counter, going on walks, and sleeping with Ripken every night. This one hurt for our whole family. We love you George! #cancersucks #dogsarethebest by @kevingtenney
