The 19th anniversary of Antares also means that it’s been 20 years since I joined this amazing band.
So many great memories with you guys over all these years.
Antares is still one of my favorite metal albums, not only because of the incredible talent of Drop and Ben as composers, but also because of Dirk’s drumming on this record. His playing is absolutely tremendous.

It was a huge honor for me to step in after him and play his parts. I was still very young at the time, and @dirkverbeuren was a major inspiration for me as a metal drummer.
To this day, I think his style is truly unmatched. He brings such a unique groove and feeling to metal drumming. There’s something instantly recognizable about the way he plays. You just know when it’s Dirk behind the kit.

A huge thank you as well to all the fans and to all the incredible people I’ve had the chance to meet throughout these 20 years. Thank you for all the amazing moments and memories we’ve shared along the way.

Thank you guys for these 20 years. ❤️

P.S. This is my first real Instagram post, so please be kind! 😄 by @kevyeah

Obsydians' “Ascension” has officially passed 1 million streams on Spotify!
In today’s world, where many bands reach massive numbers in a very short time, 1 million streams over 8 years may not seem huge. But for our small project: a band that exists as rarely as a change of era, with absolutely no promotion behind it, this is a milestone we are truly proud of, and happy to share with you.
Thank you for all your support through the years. We are currently working on new Sybreed music. Time is never really on our side, but as we already said: we are not going to rush anything.

The release of the new Sybreed shirts has been postponed to October 3rd - 5PM (CET)
With the current shipping situation, placing an order now would not only mean excessive costs, but also the risk of packages being delayed, blocked or even returned. We’d rather wait to make sure everyone gets their order safely and fairly, and that everybody has the same chance to grab one.
Thanks for bearing with us!

As you may have heard, shipping costs and taxes from Europe to the USA have skyrocketed. Unfortunately, we’re forced to suspend all USA shipments for now, while we look for a solution to avoid charging you absurd fees. We’re truly sorry about this situation, we’re all in the same boat. Costs will inevitably rise, but we’re working hard to keep the increase as low as possible. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we have news. by @kevyeah

EDIT: release postponed to October 3rd - 5PM (CET)

"The Pulse Of Awakening" shirt will be available on Sept 5 at 5PM (CET), together with two other designs inspired by "Antares" and "God Is An Automaton."

The first version of this shirt was designed by Ben in 2010. The front design was similar, though originally in orange tones, while this new edition comes in yellow. Back then, it was called “Strength Through Joy” and featured a back print, which we chose not to include in this updated version, redesigned by Yohann Pasquier.

All album reissues are already available in our shop (link in bio).

Limited to 120 copies worldwide
Sizes : S to 2XL
