My heart feels so full after being part of the Rajasthan Creators Conclave on World Tourism Day. ❤️

Being part of an exhibition as a filmmaker was something completely new for me, and I honestly didn’t know what to expect. But it turned out to be such a beautiful experience.
To be able to share my experiences and the stories I’ve gathered along the way, meeting so many young, curious minds and other amazing content creators and hopefully educate or inspire someone through them is a feeling of fulfilment.

I went there hoping to inspire, but came back feeling inspired myself. ❤️

I’m genuinely, deeply grateful to Meenakshi Ma’am for bringing this opportunity my way, Avdeep for having me on the panel, and Ajit for helping me put the stall together. by @keya.vaswani

Having @some.arth.mahajan come to @tossjaipur for the screening of The Unreserved was truly delightful and enriching. One, it was the culmination of our wonderful workshop in Basics of Smartphone Documentary, second it was right next day to the screening of @par_kati and team’s Mast Mahila Mandali. To have filmmakers come together organically where participants could witness a beautiful exchange, powerful discussion, also understanding the process directly from filmmakers, completed the whole circle. We have talked enough about this week, but the love we feel, the satisfaction of completion, can’t express enough of that.

What happens when science meets cinema? 🎥🔬✨
Visiting the Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences was such an incredible experience. For us filmmakers, getting to meet scientists doing such fascinating and meaningful work was truly inspiring.

I love the idea of scientists and filmmakers coming together because when knowledge meets storytelling, they can create wonders.

Here’s to more collaborations between science and cinema!#Bsip #keyavaswani #storyofbeing #thenudge #toturnatide by @keya.vaswani

✨ I have some wonderful news! ✨
Our film ‘To Turn a Tide’ has won the Best Educational Impact Film Award at the Prithvi Film Festival! 🥹❤️

What makes this recognition even more special is that Prithvi is a unique festival organized by BSIP (Birbal Sahani Institute of Palaeoscience) that brings together science and cinema—two worlds that, when they come together, have the power to inform, inspire, and create meaningful change.

And today, I feel nothing but gratitude.
First, a heartfelt thank you to The Nudge, the Executive Producer of this film. Without your trust, support, and belief in this story, this film would never have been possible. Nisha, Sravya and Meera who was with us during the shoot. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to tell this story and bring these important ideas and solutions to a wider audience.

To my incredible team—this is our win. Cinematographer @tarunkundanidop , Editor @cheeyaarojas , ADs @nhihoonaditya and @nishthasharma._ Every single person who worked on this film gave it their time, energy, creativity, and heart. We all worked equally hard, and this recognition belongs to every one of you. I couldn’t have done this without you. ❤️

A very special thank you to all the innovators and changemakers featured in our film. You are the ones doing the inspiring work on the ground, creating solutions and showing us what is possible. It was an honour to tell your stories.

And finally, a huge thank you to the Prithvi Film Festival team, the college, and everyone who made this beautiful festival happen. I had such a wonderful time meeting fellow filmmakers, scientists and students, listening to fascinating stories, and being part of a space where science and cinema came together so meaningfully.

This is not my award. This is our award. It belongs to every person who believed in this film, contributed to it, supported it, and made it possible. So, congratulations to all of us. ❤️

Here’s to the power of collaboration, to stories that create impact, and to everyone working towards a better, more hopeful future.

Nine years ago, under Storyloom Films, my former partner Nidhi and I created one of our very first film series for Good Earth—Pehchaan. It was a celebration of India’s craft traditions and the hands that keep them alive. One of those films was Making of Kansa.

A few days ago, I received the wonderful news that footage from our film has been featured in the latest edition of Architectural Digest in Rajeev Sethi: The Architecture of Craft Memory.

It may seem like a small moment, but it means so much to me.

As creators, we often move from one project to the next without knowing how long our work will continue to live. To see something we made nearly a decade ago still finding relevance, still being watched, and becoming part of a new story is deeply humbling.

It reminds me that sincere work has a life of its own. Sometimes it quietly continues its journey long after we’ve moved on.

A heartfelt thank you to Good Earth and Architectural Digest for featuring the work of Storyloom Films—now known as Story of Being. I truly cannot be more grateful.

And thank you to the artisans who welcomed us into their worlds, to every collaborator who was part of those early years, and to everyone who continues to believe in meaningful storytelling. Those films shaped me as much as I hope they have touched others.

Moments like these quietly remind me why I chose storytelling in the first place.

With a heart full of gratitude. 🤍 by @keya.vaswani
