Dusted off the metal M&P. It's been months since I've had this one out.

Pushed the speed and threw a couple of flyers, but draws at 7 yards stayed between 1.2 and 1.5 After that long a time away from it, I'll take that all day. by @keystonefreedom

Under ATF’s guidance, ATF will not enforce the requirements for individuals to apply and receive ATF approval before making or transferring short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, suppressors (silencers), and certain other concealable firearms known in the law as “any other weapons.” ATF also will not enforce the NFA’s registration, tax-stamp or related requirements for those covered items. The $200 tax remains in place for machine guns and destructive devices. The NFA requirements apply in full to those weapons.
The guidance does not supersede state and local laws that restrict NFA firearms. Because many state laws require individuals to register NFA firearms, ATF will continue to process NFA applications that are submitted. The guidance also does not affect the Gun Control Act’s requirement to obtain ATF approval before transporting short-barreled rifles and short-barreled shotguns in interstate commerce. Individuals may obtain that approval by filing a Form 20, whether or not the item is registered under the NFA.
Under the guidance, licensed dealers must still complete Form 4473s, run NICS background checks, keep records, and follow all other Gun Control Act requirements. Those engaged in the business are required to pay any special occupational tax. Individuals must also continue to comply with state law, which may be more restrictive. by @keystonefreedom

There is a first time for everything! He lost his magazine in the top opening of the plastic drum! Ended up actually getting it out with one of those Extendo stick magnet things 😁 by @keystonefreedom

Had some left over playing cards from our 75th Anniversary celebration so we decided to use some up today! Got mine on the first shot! Although I really don't call this training by any means, just a parlor trick shot and a bit of fun! by @keystonefreedom

Long overdue range day with @derekn2.0. Ran a couple of new-to-us standards plus the Air Marshal qual.

Too busy shooting to take pictures, but I did get one clip testing a @throomtargets knockdown target for future club use. 😀 anybody use these on an outdoor sportsman's club range? by @keystonefreedom

Got introduced to the @cttsolutionsllc “10-8” Skills Inventory Test today, thanks to @hobby_madness. Solid set of tests from Mike Pannone — this one’s going into the regular rotation. by @keystonefreedom

Had another great private session with @mellowitalianwino today — wrapped up right before the rain rolled in. Watching students progress through the program is the best part of this work. Big thanks to @mellowitalianwino for showing up prepared, taking notes, and putting in the homework between sessions. The improvement showed today, brother. Looking forward to the next one! by @keystonefreedom
