I stopped by @thenickelbar_grill and I had a great time. First let me mention that the Customer Service was A-1. NuNu greeted me at the door and was super sweet. Aliyah behind the bar was very informative and one of the kindest souls I’ve met in a restaurant setting! From the drinks to the food, everything was made with love. I love a good flavorful loaded fry along with seasoned wings! The macaroni was great as well. They have a great happy hour and even offer reverse happy hour on Fridays. So make your way to The Nickel Bar and Grill! Huge shoutout to @theryanbsherman for the recommendation ❤️

MY overall experience was a 9/10

One thing I love is a hidden gem!! Lazaro’s Pizza is located on the Northwest side of Houston and they did NOT disappoint! They have weekly carry out specials, pasta, wings and more! I love pizza and for ME it was sooo good!!! The wings were PERFECT! The salad was filled and my kids and I were FULL! If you are looking for a great pizza spot…here you go!!!

I just might be addicted to Matcha now. With that being said I’m going to try them across the city when I can. Today’s stop was at @thecuppocoffeeandtea This spot was cute inside and perfect for WFH. I ordered a Vanilla matcha but for to ask for sweet cream foam 😩 But overall the matcha was not overbearing and I could taste the vanilla. Would I return? Yes I would!

I wanted Happy hour and @trulucksrestaurant Galleria did the trick! First, phenomenal job to the bar staff. They did a great job with customer service! I did Happy Hour first then stayed for dinner! Everything was GREAT and I have always loved Trulucks!

Heres what i ordered:

🍸 The Dinner Martini w/Blue Cheese Olives (tiny version) 10/10
🍹 Voila with vodka and dry ice for the aesthetic. Solid cocktail 7/10

Dipped in @brasserie19 for a cocktail and they did NOT disappoint. The staff were very friendly and I love an attentive bartender. The bar was packed but the bartenders still made everyone feel welcomed and were making sure drinks were flowing. Customer service was a 10/10 Cocktails 10/10

Went to several spots and drinks were horrible but @doublestandardsatx came through and made it all better! The bartenders were attentive and made sure we were good! The drinks were to my standard and y’all know I don’t play when it comes to that! I had a great time and when I’m in San Antonio again…this will be my first stop! Thanks @doublestandardsatx

I’m late to the game but stopped by @yardhouse for their happy hour and it was great to me! The bartender did my “splash” of pineapple to my liking so that was a plus! The spinach dip had a good flavor with fresh chips. The buffalo boneless bites were spicy and cool! The sliders came out hot and had that charbroiled flavor. My overall experience was great and I will be back to try other items!

I stopped by @thebixby.sb and it was a very nice experience. The inside is very intimate and perfect for a date night. I sat at the bar and you can people watch as they play tennis/pickleball on the courtyard behind. The bar manager was really nice and explained each drink I asked about. I started with the the Pina Brava which was very unique and I enjoyed it. The star of the show for me was the Martini no. 1 Y’all know I LOVE a martini and this one was it! Very strong and straight to it!

They are a fairly new so if you’re in the area…check them out and let me know what you think!

This coffee house changed the game for me! @carlascoffeehouse was a great visit! My cousin put me on and she was RIGHT! The customer service was A-1 and that’s hard to find out here! She suggested one of their most popular lattes which was the Sweet Potato Latte. I’m really not a sweet potato girlie but this was a 100/10. This was sooo good and changed my mind completely. The blueberry Matcha was well balanced and the Strawberry Shortcake Matte was as well! Some of the best Matcha drinks since I’ve started my journey!

They have different events so head to their page and follow them!

PS. I will definitely be back for part 2 to indulge in cocktails next!

Hadn’t been back to @deanshtx since the remodel and decided to stop in. Intimate cozy space where you can grab and drink and chill with your people. They also have a big screen that was playing the game. Harrison took great care of us with our drinks as I do NOT play behind a perfect pour. I had a sidecar well balanced and my daughter a Hennessy margarita. It was great to just chill, listen to music and vibe.

Second stop for @houstonrestaurantweeks was the one the only @vicandanthonys For me they are in my TOP 5 of best steakhouses in Houston. I had the Caesar salad, 6oz Filet Mignon and pineapple upside down cake. My guest indulged in stuffed roasted mussels, stuffed flounder, and the pineapple cake as well. Cocktails were old fashioned and dirty martini. I LOVE Vic and Anthony’s and the hospitality is always top tier. Check them out!!

It’s Houston Restaurant weeks and I stopped by @eatnorthitalia for their $25 lunch. I started off with a Sicilian Margarita and when I tell you get that…..GET IT! (It’s an add-on $) For my starter i got the meatballs on polenta. Very tasty seasoned and just right. Entree was the Spicy Rigatoni it was also hot and flavorful. I had to get another margarita because they are just that good! Check out North Italia!
