Hi friends! Just a little introduction to those who don’t know me. My name is Khalsom, I’m a Malay and British artist based in Singapore🇸🇬 for the past 14 years. I’ve painted all of my life but 5 years ago I decided to make it my full time job.

My work has always been about colour, movement and texture and the last 5 years I’ve filled my world with just that (and maybe the occasional butterfly 🦋😜).
It’s been a wild ride, and I’m so grateful to now have my work in places all over the globe. 🌎

I like to capture moments of joy, happy moments of change and growth, moments that hold so much pleasure you don’t want to forget them. So if that’s something that interests you… or you just want to say Hi, please get in touch. 👋 I’d love to hear from you.

I work on both commissions and my own collections that I sell through galleries, fairs and my own website and Instagram. Working closely with designers and individuals on residential and hospitality projects. I also ship worldwide so don’t worry if you’re not in Singapore, we can figure out how to get a piece to you.

Have a nice day!!
🖤 Khalsom

A little look back at the Wealth of Nature exhibition at Artitude Galeria ✨🎨

It’s been so special seeing these works come to life in the space, and even more special seeing some find their forever homes.

Just over a week left before the exhibition closes, and there are still a few pieces available. If something has caught your eye, now’s the time to come by and see them in person. 💫

A big thank you to Alex and the @artitudegaleria team for all your hard work. 🫶🏼

📍 Artitude Galeria, Dempsey

The first piece sold from the exhibition has found its new home ✨

There’s something so special about seeing a painting leave the gallery and become part of someone’s space — especially when it’s installed so beautifully.

From exhibition wall to forever home. 💙🦋

A little birthday magic in Lombok 🌴✨

I haven’t been back to Lombok since 2022, so returning after all these years felt pretty special — especially as this island has been a part of our family story.

We’ve been coming here for over 10 years, long before Lombok started growing into the destination it is today. It’s a place we’ve watched change and grow, and where we eventually built our hotel, Rawa Lombok @rawa.lombok , making our connection to the island even deeper.

And then came the sweetest full-circle moment… walking into my brother’s restaurant, Bara @baralombok_ , and seeing my artwork still there, exactly where I installed it back in 2022. 🥹🎨 There’s something surreal about seeing a piece of yourself still living in a place you haven’t visited for four years.

Four days with the fam, celebrating both my birthday and my mum’s — filled with sunshine, good food, old memories, new ones and lots of love. 🤍

And thank you so much for all the birthday wishes. Every message, call and little bit of love really did make my day. Feeling very grateful for another year, and for the people and places that make life so special.

Lombok, it was good to be back. 🌴❤️

Oh and if you’re in Kuta, Lombok and want that cake.. head to my brothers other spot @papisapi_ ♥️
