Food is a place. I've always believed in the power of gathering around the table to share a meal. It's an everyday ritual we rarely stop to think about, passing bowls across the table, pouring cups of tea, making space for conversation. These small acts of care and connection are something everyone deserves.Join us around the table on Friday 31st July for Roots, Rice & Spice, where we share a three-course dinner created by Punam Vaja, together with two fellow South Asian chefs: Sharmin Choudhury and Rajini Nathan, celebrating the stories and flavours that shape our cooking. We're also grateful to Wholegood, our produce partner, whose beautiful organic produce will be at the heart of the menu.Every ticket purchased will provide eight hot, nutritious meals to those who are impacted by homelessness. The evening will take place on the Cathedral View terrace, overlooking the city. Tickets are limited, book via the link in bio. by @khao_suppers

Lights!Camera!Action!GET READY FOR A DHAMAK-E-DAR SEQUAL!When we put together Aam Ki Zameen in the summer of 2025, we knew it wasn’t just another supper club, it wasn’t just another collaboration. Imagine, two women with vastly different upbringings, even languages and family history, yet so deeply connected over our love for mangoes. For Chef Saliha, it is ingrained in her DNA, in the story of her family as a daughter & grand-daughter of farmers. She has grown up with the Chausa orchads back home in Multan, Pakistan. For Chef Punam, Kesar is the smell of summers, from keri no raas to mango srikhand, it’s that connection straight to Kathiyawad in Gujarat, India. It was almost elemental than that as summer rolled around, we would get to work, and begin producing the sequel to the original: Aam ki Zammeen Part 2! Join Khao Suppers & Third Culture Kat as we take over the Chandelier Room at Mare Street Market @marestreetmarket this July for an immersive journey through the rich and varied world of South Asian mangoes. Last year we shared a few of the most popular varieties, and so this year were delving even deeper into the world of mangoes. You do not want to miss this! See the link in bio to book now, with the full menu reveal coming soon. 🥭 Date: Sunday 26th July 2026, from 5pm.🥭 Location: Mare Street Market, E8. by @khao_suppers

Exploring the menu for Aam Ki Zameen, Part 2 🥭When Saliha and me sat down to brainstorm the menu for this year's edition, I was determined to include a chaat. I don’t claim that chaat belongs to any one place or region, but my childhood memories of chaat or street food have always been connected to Bombay Juhu Chowpatty. Mum, who grew up in Bandra Kurla, makes some of the best chaat and it was always on the menu at home over the summer holidays as a kid. One ingredient she always adds to hers, is green or raw mango. It’s tangy, sharpness works wonders in bhel or papdi chaat, adding a little layer of sourness to the multitude of flavours. On Sunday, guests will be treated to my own variation: Not such an Aam Chaat! You’ll find the best of British tomatoes, together with onions & grilled mango. Enter centre stage: Karthakolomban, a native Sri Lankan mango variety known for its vibrant natural sweetness, rich tropical flavour, and fiberless, deep-orange flesh. This will be lightly grilled and served with fresh Burrata, fresh green chilli, coriander and mint chutney and @tckcondiments Lahori Tamarind Chutney. To finish off, a special surprise made with @shopajjisIf you haven’t booked, there’s still time! Link in bio. And if you read all the way here, treat yourself with £10 off, use code MANGO10. by @khao_suppers

A moment for grounding. A moment to cool yourself from within. A moment of Santosha. In Sanskrit, the ancient language speaks of a feeling of contentment, happiness and inner peace, this is Santosha. When Jaina and me were thinking of a name, this fit perfectly for what we are setting out to do: Curated and thoughtful seasonal Yoga & Supper club sessions aimed to bring you inner peace and grounding for the changing seasons of the year. 🌻 Summer Session: Saturday 11th July 🌻The menu features a range of sharing dishes, starting with fermented rice & gram lentil Dhokla, a charred English cabbage with cooling spices, & garlic to regulate digestion. A Kerala-inspired beetroot and coconut dip and sprouted mung bean salad. The main dish takes a nod from a classic mung bhaat, but very minimally spiced mung with ginger for fighting off any summer detoxification and aids with sweat, to stay cool. The kokum Dashi allows to calm the pitta dosh (fire element) in us all. To finish, a small serving of amaranth or rajigro, an ancient grain pudding made with plant based milk, is served with a little dark cocoa to ease us into a good night’s sleep. Final tickets remain: book now via link in bio. by @khao_suppers

Reflecting back on a beautiful May afternoon spent with 8 wonderful women for our very first Supper Club, hosted in collaboration with the phenomenal Punam of Khao Suppers (@khao_suppers)! Still Life Supper Club (Don’t Play With Your Food) was all about coming together to activate multiple senses and re-connect with the artist inside each of us. 🧑‍🎨Food has always been absolutely central to our philosophy, so it was particularly special to be able to engage in some ‘food play’, drawing upon childhood memories and personal stories. It was heartwarming to see the organic flow of conversation and connection across the table. Each story shared, resonated deeply and despite coming from different backgrounds and cultures it was clear that food was a common thread between all of us. Everyone created their own Still Life paintings inspired by the arrangement on the table and we drew inspiration from the long lineage of Still Life across art history. The highlight however, was most definitely the colourful, seasonal and flavour-packed meal crafted by Punam. It truly unlocked memories that we forgot even existed. Personally, it was the mango icecream that remains unforgettable - the perfect start to summer and an encapsulation of the flavours of home. We all left with our bellies and hearts full. 🥭Here are some glimpses of the session, hosted at the incredibly warm and cosy hōm (@homdalston). A big thank you to everyone who joined us, and ofcourse Punam for making this happen and being the most wonderful collaborator we could ask for. 🫶🏽Special mention to @christa.pls who designed our original poster 🍒 by @khao_suppers

Tea, cha, chai. It’s an expression of rituals, of a moment. A ritual of a drink prepared by our Mother’s and shared with our Father’s. Our Afternoon Tea was an ode to our childhoods, growing up and enjoying tea-time snacks, after-school treats and the nostalgia of carrying these flavours forward through to the present day. Thank you to all our wonderful guests who came along and made the afternoon what it was! This look back, filmed and captured by @by.shweta just takes us back to the Sunday afternoon full of laughter, chats and clinking tea cups.It was so much fun to come together, we’ve already been thinking about our next one! We hope you'll come and share your tea, cha and chai stories with us. by @khao_suppers
