A huge pleasure and thanks to work on this commission by Suppers by @rosiekellett and @virginiamalavasi to help create their evenings for their Fall Supper Clubs 2024.

To coincide with the Supermoon, and the end of the Hindu festival Navratari (celebration of good overcoming evil), I made 32 individual place mats for for each dinner guest. Employing abstraction and automatism as vehicles to liberate the unconscious mind. Embellished with an Aluminium foil disk reminiscent of mirrors embroidered into fabrics in India used to ward off evil energies; echoing the wall hangings shown around the space. Finished with Metalic Gold Enamel spray.

A selection will be made available to purchase in the coming weeks.
