For as long as I can remember, my mind felt like a battlefield. I struggled with what I believed was ADHD, experiencing a lifetime of torment, restlessness, fear, and a mind that seemed impossible to quiet.

I spent years searching for answers, trying to understand what was happening to me and longing for peace. I explored different spiritual paths, believing I was finding truth and healing, but I didn’t understand what I was truly dealing with.

Then Jesus changed everything.

In this video, I share my personal testimony of how Jesus brought me freedom from what I had understood to be ADHD, what I came to believe was behind my experiences, and how He led me out of spiritual deception and into the peace I had spent so much of my life searching for.

This isn’t a story about how I found the power within myself. It’s a story about discovering that I am not the source — Jesus is Lord, and true freedom is found in Him.

I want to make something clear: I am not claiming that everyone with ADHD is experiencing what I experienced, that ADHD isn’t real, or that people should stop taking medication. This is my personal testimony and my understanding of what happened in my own life. If you have ADHD, please don’t interpret my story as a diagnosis of your experience or a reason to discontinue treatment.

My prayer is that this testimony points you to Jesus, encourages you to seek Him for yourself, and reminds you that no matter how long you’ve struggled or how far you’ve wandered, you can bring everything to Him.

Jesus is the One who saved me. All glory belongs to Him.

One of the enemy’s greatest deceptions is not convincing you to reject God, but leading you to believe in a version of God that never asks you to surrender to Him.

Scripture warns us that Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). Deception doesn’t always look dark or evil. Sometimes it looks beautiful, feels empowering, and sounds almost like the truth.

Not every spiritual experience is from God. Not every path that promises peace, enlightenment, or power leads us to Him.

The question is: Does this lead me to the truth of who God is, or does it keep me at the centre?

The Holy Spirit doesn’t come to affirm our belief that we are our own source of truth. He points us to Jesus, exposes what is false, convicts us of sin, and leads us into truth.

Following Jesus is not about becoming more powerful in ourselves. It is about surrendering our lives to Him.

The counterfeit offers spirituality without surrender. The gospel calls us to die to ourselves and live in Christ.

The question isn’t simply whether something feels spiritual or brings you peace. The question is whether it is true. Test everything against the Word of God. (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

Seek the Saviour, not the Sign.

In these times, there is a massive rise in false prophets and false teachers. I felt this would be helpful for the body to learn the difference between true biblical prophecy revealed through scripture and someone claiming to hear God who is not submitted to Christ. My hopes with this post is not to shame anyone , but to help the body be able to discern when someone is truly receiving biblical prophecy, what the purpose of biblical prophecy is and is not and how to know when someone is not receiving messages truly from God but a different source, through the spirit of divination.

“And Jesus answered and said unto them; take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name saying I am the Christ; and shall deceive many. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray”. - Matthew 24:5

To everyone who saw where I was heading and didn’t stay silent. To everyone who told me the truth even when it made me upset, triggered and uncomfortable. To those who prayed for me, corrected me, rebuked me and quoted scripture to me…THANK YOU.

It is because of you that I began to question what I was living in, what I was trusting in and what I was walking towards. You pulled the first string of the messy yarn ball I had been blinded by and with my surrender and acceptance, Jesus pulled the string until the yarn ball of deception came apart completely and I could see through it fully. Thank you for not sitting idly and telling me the truth when you saw where I was heading. Who cared about my soul more than my feelings.
