The Shift: Come As You Are – An Evening of Connection & Experience

Come as you are… exactly as you are.

This intimate outdoor gathering is a gentle invitation to slow down, connect, and experience something truly unique.

Hosted in a backyard setting in Fairfield Island, this evening brings together a small group of like-minded individuals for a shared experience of connection, insight, and presence.

We are honoured to welcome guest @kiannaggabriel author of The Missing Piece Is You, who will guide a grounding exercise followed by a mini teaching and channeled message from source.

Throughout the evening, you’ll be guided through a series of carefully curated experiences, including:

✨ A collective meditation with the natural vibration of a live beehive
✨ Insights into frequency, vibration, and energy
✨ A sound healing demonstration with Rachelle @weavingthefield
✨ Tea leaf reading with Vicky and time to connect and reflect

This is not a structured workshop or formal class — it’s an experience. A space to come together, to be present, and to reconnect with yourself and others in a meaningful way.

💘 $5 - $10 contribution to cover loose tea and light refreshments is requested 😊

🌿 Limited to approximately 20 guests for an intimate and relaxed atmosphere
📅 Saturday 13th June
⏰ 6:00pm – 8:00pm
📍 Private backyard location – Fairfield Island, Chilliwack (address shared upon booking)

Come hang with me! I'm so excited for this Heart & Soul Gathering in my home on the evening of November 23rd.

We'll be hearing the story 'Sealskin, Soulskin' by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes, from her book Women Who Run with the Wolves. There'll be crafting (bring your own or use what I've got!), tea, guided meditations and journal prompts, and those heart-filling feelings of connectedness and aliveness that happen when we gather. ❤

Bonus: my dear friend Kianna will be present, and she's bringing her tarot/oracle decks. You'll have the option of getting a reading from this gifted intuitive soul!

Details and registration up there in the b!o. 🍃

Sometimes my self care is an epsom salt soak for my feet, with salts and flowers that have been blessed in circle by women I love. Ahhh.

But self-care can be so much more than salt baths!

Lately I've taken on a new self-care practice, and I think all you moms (new and seasoned) need to hear it, and try it out if it feels good. Are you ready?

I no longer clean my house when people are coming over. No tidying, dusting, scrubbing, hiding away the messes. No more. Dirty dishes on the counter? Yup, there are. We live here, we eat.

For years I would blitz-clean the entire house just before people were coming over, always last-minute, because I'm a procrastinator. Then I'd be wiped and unable to be present with my visitors.

I've recently given that up, and it feels so right.

I send my visitors a text before-hand, telling them to expect our house to look lived-in. They say, "Great! See you soon!", and I sit and colour with my kids while we wait for the knock on the door. I don't worry that the stairs aren't vaccuumed, and they might see some dog fur.

I get to be relaxed and comfortable when friends arrive, and I have the energy for socializing. They might see a basket of unfolded laundry in the living room, and I don't worry that they'll judge me. We live here. We wear clothes.

It struck me how difficult this was the first few times I tried it. It's so hard to resist the urge to make my house look spotless, to hide the fact that four people and a dog occupy this space, and I ended up at least vaccuuming everywhere. But I pushed through, and each time it gets easier, each time I do less frantic cleaning.

I'm finally taking the advice I give to parents who are freshly postpartum when I'm on my way to see them: Don't clean the house on my account! You are nurturing new life, as you tend to your own body and ever-changing emotions. You need to rest and be nurtured.

Don't we all?!

Love,
Katrina
