Every nappy, cry and feed can start to feel like a clue when something doesn’t feel quite right.

Cow’s milk allergy isn’t always obvious, and it doesn’t always show up straight away. Some signs can look more like tummy troubles, skin reactions, reflux or unsettled feeding, while others may be delayed and harder to connect.

If you’ve found yourself wondering, “Is this normal?” you’re not imagining it. The signs can be confusing, but you don’t have to connect the dots alone.

We’ve broken down what parents may notice, why cow’s milk allergy can be hard to spot, and when to seek support.

The words we use matter. They shape how girls see themselves and how the world sees them.

This International Day of the Girl, we’re crossing out old labels and writing new ones that celebrate their power, not shrink it.

Because girls don’t need to be less, they need to be seen and heard. 🙏🏼

We need to raise kids who know it’s okay not to be okay.

Because good mental health isn’t about being happy all the time. It’s about knowing what to do when you’re not.

About 1 in 7 Australian children aged 4–17 experienced a mental health disorder in a 12-month period, according to the Young Minds Matter survey.

And while we can’t take away every worry, disappointment or difficult feeling our kids will experience, we can help them feel safe enough to talk about them.

These are 10 things we want every child to grow up knowing about their mental health. And parents, you don’t have to have all the answers either.

If you’re worried about your child’s mental health, or you’re simply not sure how to support them, there are people and services that can help. Swipe through for a list of Australian mental health support lines.

And remember, you don’t have to get every conversation right. You just have to keep the door open.

Save this for the conversations that matter, and share it with a parent who might need it.

Dads, coffees, flowers and a few life lessons along the way. ☕🪻

We caught up with some incredible Aussie dads over coffee to talk about what fatherhood really looks like.

The best bits. The hard bits. The things they hope their kids will remember about them one day.

Turns out, there’s no one way to be a dad. Just a whole lot of figuring it out as you go, finding the balance, enjoying the little moments and trying to be the kind of person your kids look up to.

Thanks to @bioisland and @dadscoffeee for helping us celebrate the dads doing it their way.

Avoiding the last-minute chemist run

No one tells you how often you’ll end up at the chemist once you have kids.

And no one wants to be the parent ducking out at 11pm because pain or fever has popped up and you don’t have what you need at home.

In this clip, Emma Walsh talks about why having pain and fever relief in the cupboard can help make those late-night sickness moments feel a little easier to manage.

There are some baby products you end up reaching for so often they basically become part of the furniture.

Bunjie’s updated Probiotic Baby Wipes are one of those change-table staples. The cloth is stronger, the pack feels sturdier and they’re easier to pull out one at a time, which sounds minor until you’re halfway through a nappy change with one free hand and five wipes attached to the one you actually wanted.

They’re fragrance-free, dermatologically tested and microbiome-friendly for delicate little skin, with travel packs for the nappy bag and a wipe pouch for keeping them close by.

Then there’s the All-Star Shelfie, which takes care of a lot of the other everyday stuff in one go. Bathtime, hair, moisturising and nappy changes are all covered, and the Hide & Squeak Bubble Bath is still a favourite in our house.

Basically, the kind of products that quietly earn their spot because you actually use them all the time.

When sickness hits at 2am

Kids have a way of seeming fine all day, then suddenly becoming unwell right as everyone is winding down.

In this clip, Emma Walsh speaks to that very real overnight worry: putting them to bed, wondering if their pain or fever will persist during the night, and already thinking about how tomorrow is going to work.

Because those late-night sickness moments are common, and having a plan before you’re in the middle of them can help make the night feel a little less overwhelming.
