Black clothes on a black backdrop… I’ll never get tired of it. 🖤

I’ve tried to learn about finances before, but I’m pretty right-brained, so when people start talking numbers, my brain tends to check out. 😂 But my first session with Trish? Little light bulb moment. 💡

Maybe there’s something about a woman teaching women that makes it feel a little more relatable. Whatever it is, Trish has a way of making wealth-building actually click for me.

Trish is a former corporate lawyer who now teaches women how to build wealth in a more holistic way.

Loved creating these personal branding photos for her. And honestly, black-on-black will always be one of my favorite looks.

Stay tuned for more images from this shoot. There are so many good ones. 🖤

45 and entirely rooted in who I am.

Sometimes you have to take your own light, your own style, and your own fierce heart out into the wild to realize that the chaos around you can’t dim what’s inside. Building my own sanctuary, one intentional step at a time.

These stunning photos are taken by the talented 📸 @kikitaphotography

Throwback to Utah, where I had the chance to capture Eduardo and his stunning Argentine Dogo, Hana 🇦🇷... My dream dog! ❤️ I'm excited to photograph them again today! Stay tuned for the photos....
The last snap is of me with Hana - couldn't resist sneaking into a shot with her! Last week, a man actually jumped off his bike to ask for a photo with her 😍. Turns out he was an Argentine who recognized her breed and beauty.

"Our most treasured family heirloom is our sweet family memories." - William Faulkner

Last Family Christmas Session of the year. I felt privileged to capture these images of Annette and her family. Especially of her sweet mother and pup Bruno. Every time I look at his picture I'm reminded of Dobby from Harry Potter. 😂

Just a reminder to hold on tight to those you love this Christmas season.

Special hugs and prayers to my other sweet friend, Jenny, who lost her beloved mother yesterday. 🙏 May you feel our Savior’s embrace.

"Here's to the ones that dream
Foolish as they may seem.
Here's to the hearts that ache.
Here's to the mess we make."- Mia (Emma Stone), La La Land

A little more from Logan's LA LA Land- inspired grad session. First stop: the iconic Santa Monica Pier. The next day, we made our way from Griffith Park to the heart of Downtown LA, and wrapped it all up at the stunning Hermosa Beach Pier. ❤️ So many great memories and good times.

"Positive anything is better than negative nothing.” - Elbert Hubbard

Throwback to the time Logan flew in from SLC to experience a La La Land-inspired grad session—totally his idea. We drove around LA, hitting up various locations where the movie was filmed. Wherever we went, people were drawn to him and his positive energy. ⚡❤️
Thanks for the fun!

"Be yourself; everyone else is already taken." - Oscar Wilde

This was one of my most favorite sessions! Brenda didn't need a big occasion to celebrate herself. For her milestone birthday, she made herself the reason — and I think that's something worth capturing. ✨

Special shout out to the talented & lovely Taryn from @makeupbytaryn
And my friend @shyleendavi for styling and lending the extra hand. ♥️ u.

"The gray hair of experience is the splendor of the old." (Proverbs 20:29, NLT)

Can't believe we're already at the end of August! At the beginning of August, my family had the privilege of celebrating our matriarch's 100th Birthday!!! My Abuela has lived a long, difficult, yet inspiring life!

At age 17, when she and her 8 siblings became orphans, she took on the task of raising her 4 little brothers. Then, at midlife, she emigrated to a new country and learned a new language. 🇦🇷 ➡️ 🇺🇸

She inspired my love of fashion and garment construction. My cousins and I used to sit with her while she sewed all types of dresses, including wedding dresses, which she could create just by looking at a picture, (or that drawing I made when I was 8). If we had an idea for a dress or costume....no prob. Take it to Abuela.

🌟 So, just a little reminder to take pictures of those wise elders in your family. Film them talking about their life or sharing wise counsel. Don't wait. Whether you do it professionally, or just with that little camera in your pocket (or hand) called a PHONE. We can all do it. Make them feel seen, needed, and VALUED. 🌟

Abuela, te quiero mucho! Sos la mejor! Es un honor tenerte con nosotros! ❣️
