“Hello, I am Maya #a5791947 and I am FREE! Goodbye, Lancaster!” 🥹❤️ This silly, sweet, absolutely gorgeous girl stole our hearts the second we saw her. Maya was surrendered extremely underweight at just 36 lbs, far below her ideal 45–50 lbs, and was even too skinny to be spayed. 💔 We pulled her on a trust waiver, and she is now safely with us, healing wonderfully from her URI and slowly gaining weight before her spay. ❤️ Her shelter notes say Alaskan Husky with super sweet behavior. We say 100% GOOD GIRL! 🥹 She is playful, goofy, loves long walks, walks beautifully on leash, and knows how to settle and relax. We were honestly shocked by how hard it was to find a foster for this perfect girl. 🥺 Maya is still a puppy herself and deserves a person to cherish and love her for the rest of her life. We are still looking for a long-term foster or adopter. If Maya is your girl, please apply or message us to meet her! ❤️🐾 We love you, Maya! We can’t wait to see your happy forever. ❤️

Okay, this post makes me feel OLD. I photographed this beauty when she was a newborn. Over the years we have also done family sessions. And this year I'll be at her quinceanera. Time really does fly! This is one of the biggest reasons I love what I do. I get to share all these special times in your lives and document them for you to treasure. It fills my heart to watch all of your stories unfold over the years. Why do I feel like I am the same age, yet all the babies and kiddos have grown up so much? When you’re a designer you are a stylist too. There is so much that needs to be done. Location, hair, makeup, model, stylist, photographer just to name a few different hats that are worn behind the scenes to make these shot possible. 🩷 Meet Celine (CeeCee) 🩷 Celine is a sweet girl just under 2 years old who was found abandoned on a property in Texas alongside her friend Bear. After neighbors scanned their microchips, they discovered Celine’s chip traced back to California shelters, and reached out to multiple rescues for help. Thanks to our amazing fosters stepping in, both Celine and Bear were safely transported back to California. Since arriving, Celine has had time to decompress, settle in, and get fully up to date on her vaccines and vet care. What we’ve learned is that she is incredibly social, very people and dog friendly, and absolutely adores kids. Celine would thrive in an active home, ideally with children or other dogs to share her days with. She has so much love and affection to give, is a fast learner, and adapts quickly to new environments. We are so grateful to all the volunteers and especially her wonderful foster mom for giving her a safe place to land and a second chance at a happy life. It was truly the icing on the (wedding) cake 🩶 Aly and Mike's wedding got a feature in South Bay Magazine! A love story that had waited out the pandemic before it could be shared. Everything was personal and reflected the couple. Aly's love of all things black and white, the pugs, honoring both of their Fathers, all of their favorite people and of course, amazing food! My favorite moment was Aly's love letter to her Dad. Had us all in tears. Good tears. I didn't know about it beforehand, but I don't think it would have mattered. Oh and the late night bites! One of my favorite things is hunting for the details 👀 There are so many meaningful details. Loved seeing their pugs featured all over! The bride is a chef and has met many vendors at events over the years. She had her favorite "friend-ors" bring their talents on her big day. Lucky for me, I was on that list and even got to be a guest for the reception!

When your favorite people, furbabies, and itty bitty grand baby keep the party going despite the wind! It didn't last long, but Mother Nature wasn't playing nice for a minute. I was supposed to have an outdoor wedding, but it started raining 10 minutes before we were going to walk out. We had to move it inside. There was a guest staying at the bed and breakfast my wedding was at and she told me that in the Jewish faith rain is good luck and God is cleansing my path. She said she watched my Mom decorate the courtyard all day and was looking forward to watching from her window. I will never forget that lady. So far, I've been married 24 years!
