one month ago, i had the privilege of finalising the excavation of the Dolmen de Villafría, a burial mound from the Neolithic (the period of the Stone Age where agriculture and animal domestication became widespread). its construction on the northern heathland of Burgos, Spain, has been dated to 6,000 years before present. as pictured, the final stages of the excavation included the lifting of the burial chamber's collapsed megaliths, revealing a headless skeleton. we carefully removed the body for further study before restoring the mound and its standing stones to a pre-excavated state. i will always wonder about what happened to the skull and the missing grave goods of that individual we found taken in Burgos, Castilla y León, España by @killtravis.1

dont let the black mirror control
your sex n drugs n rock n roll
it's easy to let it take you in the fold
rip reality and suck your soul

could give you all you imagine but keep it cold
heart in a box brain in a bowl
dont let the black mirror control
your sex n drugs n rock n roll

i dont let the black mirror dictate the risks i take
or mistake for truth the reflection it tends to like to make
nothing in its place, every thing is fluid exchange
with its power who couldnt it change

$15,718.00. 🫂✨

Saying "we raised" doesn't feel right, because the truth is: YOU GAVE that much.

We don't even know how to thank you all without choking up. None of you had to do any of this. You moved entirely from the goodness of your hearts, out of love for making the world a better place, and we had a great fucking time doing it together.

Soulstice was a resounding success, raising about $13K for Ongoing Mutual Aid for Sudan and Mob Strong.

Our deepest gratitude to:

The Grace Darling Hotel for trusting us and donating your space, time, energy, and labor.

The performing & visual artists for sharing your invaluable talent and electric energy.

To our gorgeous team of volunteers, florists, readers, chefs, servers, ticket sellers, MC's and back end t organisers who put in endless hours beforehand and on the day.

Every single attendee who bought a ticket, showed up, and brought so much love.

Thank you all for your sacrifice, your giving, and your beautiful resistance. We love this growing community so much—we would be absolutely nothing without every single one of you. ❤️‍🔥
