SOUND UP Watch until the end. You know I had to jump on this aerial meme.

For some reason, I can elbow hang for days. It doesn’t even hurt me at all. I do have a pretty wicked bruise though from this. Aerial is not for the faint of heart. lol

« For the Sámi, the fire is more than light and warmth: it is a ‘friend and comrade.’ To be near it means to be secure. Home is where the fire burns. »

This is a quote from a collection of Sámi folktales: By the Fire – Sami Folktales and Legends collected and illustrated by Emilie Demant Hatt, translated, and with an Afterword, by Barbara Sjoholm.

When everything comes together. The music. The choreography. The lighting. I can’t tel you how much I loved doing this. For @nl.yoga’s Saturday and Thursday sling classes at @j.rougefit, we learn choreography to a full song. (She really puts us through the paces!) Occasionally, she takes song requests. This one was my request. 😉 “Prisoners of Paradise”—a wonderful cover by the Bleachers of the incredible @jesse_malin original. It’s featured on the new triple vinyl “Silver Patron Saints,” a star-studded tribute to Jesse which benefits his recovery. It was just released on Friday and my copy is currently en route to my home. You can order your own copy at https://www.jessemalinmerch.com. Jesse is one of the kindest, most generous, talented, and magnetic people out there and he’s shown such strength during this whole ordeal. I know he will recover.
.
Thank you to Heather @nl.yoga for creating this beautiful choreography. Thank you to @sheri.aerial and @taylorfaye626 for cheering me on. (You can hear them in the background.) Sometimes performing for your friends during open studio is the best. Loved the black light effect too. I swear I didn’t dye my hair a black light reflective color. 🙃

It was Comet’s birthday over the weekend! We celebrated with cookies and toys.

He wasn’t thrilled with his birthday cake hat, but he loved the cookies and toys.

If you listen closely in the beginning, you can also hear Iddles purring.

This is Mr. Fuzzy. He is a very polite bumblebee and he likes to keep himself clean.

I filmed this in my backyard. Sound up for all the sounds of the woods and meadow.

I still enjoy playing in my backyard. And by backyard, I mean my wild meadow next to my wild woods.
