HOW IT WORKS!

WE DID IT! We made it all the way through the process of how an idea becomes a bill becomes a law! Check out our last How It Works on the Bill Process... and stay tuned for next month's "How It Works: How to Get Involved" as we look ahead to the start of legislative session.

Where were y’all 4 years ago? ❓Maybe you were hanging out with us, celebrating the launch of our Out Down South exhibit at the Center for Civil and Human Rights! The outdoor, interactive installation featured beautiful portraits of our Honored Subjects, alongside short segments of their oral history interviews, accessible via QR code. 🎧

This free exhibit was open to the public for a year, sharing stories of the incredible LGBTQ+ Atlantans who helped shape this city!

Our project has grown a bunch since then–and in the coming year, we’re building a traveling version of this exhibit! 🌍🌈

Where should we take it? 🤔 taken in National Center for Civil and Human Rights by @kimforgeorgia

A great afternoon with some powerhouse fighters who are gonna flip some seats!

From Cherokee and Cobb Counties to Forsyth and Gwinnett... it's more important than ever that those of us in Metro Atlanta help candidates in the rural and suburban areas!!

Use your voice, spread the word in your networks... it's going to take more than just supporting your own district's candidates. If we collectively spread our efforts wider, we have a real chance at real, long-lasting change, starting NOW!

Special thanks to Congresswoman McBath for joining the effort today.

**And an absolute joy to run into Rodney Taylor and his family, who are true pillars of what advocacy can look like.

I have the greatest partners. Thank you Rev Senator Kim Jackson, Necessary Trouble, Project 2030 and volunteers for canvassing with me today and spreading the word about our campaign!

We are working hard to earn this seat. #Flip53
