I didn’t realize that the end of my post didn’t have the audio to my breakthrough moment. Never would I have led a “Go Jesus” moment in front of a crowd. God has given me a holy confidence that I haven’t had before. So…here it is with all my besties cheering me on! by @kimnim89

When I knew God called me to Africa, I wasn’t sure why or how it would happen, but I chose to trust God and step out in faith. I wrestled with why God would chose me to bring the good news to the widows and orphans in a small village, because there were so many others that would have been better equipped for this trip. But you see, God doesn’t call the qualified; he qualifies the called. During this trip I saw miracles, joy, love, and community giving living hope. Delta, Bayli, and the Take Heart team are making an increcible impact in Oyuma Village in Migori County. Mama Delta is a true hero. I got to also serve along my hero’s and friends, including mine and Mackenzie’s Pastors: Lis and Ida! They both spoke words over me and family and I will have them forever ingrained in my mind. Spending time with the women in children in Africa was incredible. I can’t even fully bring the words to you all just yet. I watched women and children find healing, freedom, and breakthrough, and I experienced all three in my life, too. Thank you Lord for this life changing experience. by @kimnim89

I never imagined I’d become such a cat person. I remember back when I called Kyle and told him that I found a cat that I had to have. The only information I had about him was that he was three years old and his previous owner was unable to take care of him anymore as he was in a wheelchair. They added in there that he had an obsession with straws. We thought that was so funny until we soon found out that it was true. Kai is the type of cat that even non-cat lovers actually love. Truthfully, I’ve heard that quite a few times about Kai. He always is a faithful friend. Although he likes to cuddle on his own terms if you are feeling sick or down, he’s always there. He loves finding ways to get comfortable in all sort of places. Whether It’s a box, a cabinet, a tent, or even a sink. He’s always entertained us and if one of the dogs tried to mess with him, he would never be afraid to slap them around in the face a little bit lol he’s always loved laying on top of my head and may have tried to eat my hair a time or two. He’s been a part of our family for a long time and I am so heartbroken to say that tomorrow he will cross the rainbow bridge. I imagine that Kirra will greet him and they will go off pain free to lay in the sun. We love you, Kai Kittius. There will never be another like you. ❤️😭 by @kimnim89

Hi everyone! I just wanted to give you all an update on where I’m at in my fundraising journey for my mission trip to Africa. I have been blown away by all of the encouragement, love and donations. We had a yard sale a few weeks ago, and it was very successful, too. Here is a little reminder of what I am doing: This summer our Access Church team is heading to Oyuma VIllage, Kenya 🇰🇪.
We’re bringing a version of our annual women’s conference, Known, to widows and girl students; reminding them they are fully seen, deeply loved, and never forgotten.
We’ll also be serving at a local orphanage, pouring into students, encouraging widows, and partnering with Take Heart Africa to bring light to darkness.

Tomorrow is the big day! Come check out what we have to offer at the yard sale. While you’re here grab some cold lemonade, a yummy cookie, or a homemade bracelet. For those of you that don’t know I will be heading to Africa in July. All proceeds help support our mission trip to Oyuma Village, Kenya with Access Church and Take Heart Africa.
This summer we will serve widows, students, and orphans while hosting a special women’s gathering called Known, reminding women and girls that they are seen, valued, and loved by God.

Hi Friends and family,

I’m stepping out in faith to share something God has placed on my heart.

In July 2026, I will be traveling to Africa to serve with the Take Heart organization and with a group of women from my church. This opportunity means so much to me. It’s a chance to serve, love, and support those in need in a very tangible way. In 2024, I created a vision board, which included the phrases “Here I am Lord, send me” and “aligning your actions in faith.” It is now 2026, and I am stepping out in faith.

I am currently raising $5,000 to help cover the cost of this mission. I can’t do this alone, and I’m inviting you to partner with me, whether through prayer, encouragement, or financial support.
