A beautiful reminder that when we lead with purpose, embrace possibility, and lift others along the way, extraordinary things can happen.

Happy 60th Wedding Anniversary, Mom and Dad! 💎🙏🏾❤️🎉

60 years. Six decades. A lifetime of memories, growing, sowing, loving, forgiving, laughing, praying, serving, dancing and most importantly always choosing God and choosing each other!

So much has changed between that first photo taken in 1966 at your wedding, as you began your journey together in Canada as a young couple, and the second, taken today…. September 20, 2026 - 60 years later!! Still solid as a rock 💎!!!

All Glory to God for His faithfulness in every season, the highs and the lows, every valley and mountaintop!

We salute you, we love you, and we thank you for giving your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren a priceless gift that money cannot buy- a beautiful blueprint for faith, family, commitment and love. And your legacy grows sweeter with every year. ❤️

How fitting that 60 years is the Diamond Anniversary. Diamonds are formed over time and under tremendous pressure, emerging stronger, enduring and brilliant. What a beautiful reflection of a marriage that has endured every season, and continues to shine brighter.

So keep going. Keep loving. Keep laughing. Keep praying. Keep dancing. Keep choosing each other.

Happy Birthday to my BEST FRIEND, my first love, my everyday hero, my day one, my greatest inspiration, OUR QUEEN MOM, and the woman who has shaped so much of who I am. ❤️

My beautiful, brilliant, graceful, generous, loving, classy, and extraordinary mother… you have taught me what it means to love deeply, give selflessly, serve faithfully, and walk boldly in purpose.

You continue to amaze me with your grace, faith, purpose, resilience, compassion and unwavering strength.

Your greatest legacy isn’t found in titles, accomplishments, or milestones. Even though these are vast!

It is found in the lives you’ve touched.

I have watched you pour into people relentlessly… staying up late praying for others, encouraging them, giving so generously, showing up when people needed you, and loving your family, friends, church, and community with such devotion and sacrifice.

You have spent your life making other people better, stronger, more hopeful, and more connected to God.

And I have had the privilege of watching it all front and centre. Your legacy has passed down to your grandchildren as I watch how my children have grown into such incredible adults 🙏🏾❤️

So much of what I know about love, service, faith, resilience, strength, and greatness… I learned by watching YOU.

You have been my example, my inspiration, my rock, and one of the greatest influences on the woman I have become.

A lifetime will never be enough to thank you for all you’ve done, all you’ve given, and all you’ve taught me.

I thank my Heavenly Father for blessing me with a father like you.

Today I honour you for being a tower of wisdom, strength, integrity, and unwavering love. Thank you for teaching me excellence, discipline, leadership, generosity, and faith through both your words and your example.

Thank you for the countless memories - from music and dancing, to sports, style, storytelling, laughter, and life lessons that continue to shape me today. You have always been one of my greatest role models and cheerleaders, empowering me to believe in myself and pursue excellence.

You brought so much joy and laughter into our home. You have a gift for making people feel seen, valued, and important. You can turn the most ordinary gathering into a celebration, and everyone who sits at your table leaves happier, wiser, more energized, and grateful for the experience.

Mother’s Day Reflection & Photodump… 🤍

Just taking a moment to reflect on how grateful I am for the woman who raised me and the legacy she passed down.

Thank you Mom for the prayers, sacrifices, wisdom, strength, and unconditional love that you poured into me long before I ever understood the weight of it all. Because of you, I learned faith, resilience, grace, and how to keep going even in hard seasons.

Now I get to pour those same blessings into my own children. These 3 incredible, wonderful, beautiful young adults!

I pray my 3 children walk in generational blessings, break every cycle of struggle and limitation, heal from what previous generations had to survive, and rise in greatness in the name of Jesus. 🙏🏾❤️

I’m proud to be raising children who will walk in blessings, break barriers, and become everything God has called them to be.

What started with my mother didn’t stop with me. By God’s grace, the legacy continues. 🖤

A special thank you to TWO special and TALENTED Black fashion designers: @officialheathe for this stunning custom design gown (in slide 2) that I wore for #blackhistorymonth and the wonderful @cafferyvanhorne who designed and hand crafted the leather belt worn with the dress. WOW!!
