PLEASE, BE PATIENT WITH ME. BE PATIENT WITH THOSE WHO ARE GRIEVING. ❤️‍🩹(I’m sharing this from a very personal place.)

To those watching me and interacting with me during this season, please extend me grace. I may still show up, fulfill responsibilities, and even smile, but that doesn’t mean my heart isn’t hurting. Sometimes, the people who keep showing up are fighting battles they don’t have the words to explain.

I love God. I trust Him. I know He is sustaining me. But faith does not exempt me from grief, and strength does not mean I don’t have moments when I fall apart. I can trust God completely and still deeply miss my brother, my first best friend, and the people I love.

So, please be patient with me. I am navigating a pain you may not see, and I need the freedom to process it without the pressure of pretending I’m okay.

Romans 12:15 tells us to “…weep with them that weep.” Sometimes, the greatest ministry is not having the right words; it’s extending grace, covering someone in prayer, and allowing them the space to heal.

Please don’t mistake my grief for a change in character, my quietness for disrespect, or my strength for the absence of pain. We never know what it costs someone just to show up. Let’s be gentle with one another’s hearts.

So Father, teach us to love people through their pain, extend grace without judgment, and be patient with the healing only You can bring.

GRIEF NEEDS GRACE, NOT PRESSURE. LOVE, NOT JUDGMENT. PATIENCE, NOT EXPECTATIONS.

🚨Long Post Alert🚨

Everything is still a blur. I haven’t slept in over two weeks, and honestly, I’m still trying to process it all. But one thing I know for sure: when people don’t just show up as friends, but show up as brothers and sisters, it will humble you all the way to your knees. 🧎🏾‍♀️❤️

And that’s where I’ve been…on my knees, thanking God for every text, call, prayer, meal, hug, card, check-in, and every person who simply said, “I’m here.”

To everyone who came from near and far to stand with our family and celebrate my Big Brother Bryan, thank you. You didn’t have to come, but you did. You helped carry us when we didn’t have the strength to carry ourselves.

Galatians 6:2 says, “Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” And that is exactly what you did. You helped us carry the weight of saying goodbye to Bryan.

Thank you for showing up for Bryan, his children(Bailey, Lil Bryan and Brenden),Donna, our sister Tara, our family, and for me.

I may not have the words to fully express what your love and support have meant to me, but please know this:

I love you. I appreciate you. I see you. And I thank God for you. ❤️

My prayer is that God returns every ounce of love, kindness, prayer, time, sacrifice, and support you poured into us, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.

May God bless you, keep you, strengthen you, and cover you the way you covered us.
