I took a trip to Brussels Istanbul and Tbilisi.

1) it happened to be before Pride Weekend in Brussels so everything was rainbow. As an ally, I found all the colors very festive.
2) just my face.

4) Brussels town hall built in the 15th century. The grand place in Brussels is a UNESCO world Heritage site.
6) now we’re in Istanbul. I took a sunset cruise on the Bosphorus @viator
7) Istanbul is a place you want to look up - literally. All the ceilings were beautiful

9) myself in front of the Hagia Sophia - pronounced Hi-ya. Completed by the Roman Empire in the 6th century. Became a cathedral during the Byzantine empire and now it is serving actively as a mosque, although you can still find Christian idolatry if you look closely

13) Tbilisi - a moment on the bridge of peace. I thought it was really pretty lit up at night but during the day it just kinda looked like a maxi pad with wings.

Hong Kong 🇭🇰

1) Stopped at @hansbarhk before viewing the 8pm lightshow across Victoria Harbor
2) Tai O fishing village - the “Venice” of Hong Kong
3) Made a special stop in LA to celebrate my birthday at my favorite restaurant in the world @mealsbygenet
4) Ngong Ping cable car - goes between Tun Ching Station and the Tian Tan Buddha. Of course I splurged for the glass bottom option
5) The entrance gate to Po Lin monastery and the Tian Tan Buddha
6) The giant 110’ Tian Tan Buddha the overlooks just about everything
7) Stopped at the only Punjabi Michelin Restaurant in the world @newpunjabclub and had to say hi to Punjabi hero “Uncle Ji”
8) Inside Man Mo Taoist temple - the coolest temple Ive ever been. I think you weren’t supposed to take a video of the statues faces, so I may be cursed but I got this cool video for you
9) Money from places Ive been this year. Mexico Morocco and Hong Kong. Hong Kong doesn’t have its own mint, so all the money will either be minted by one of the local banks, HSBC or Bank of China

At the beginning of September I took a lovely solo trip to Mexico City but I wasnt solo for long due to everyone being so friendly. I found the city incredibly fascinating, its rich with museums, historical architecture, native legends and modern cultural discourse, all with cosmopolitan restaurants and bars.

1) Bella Artes
2) Nivel 40 Skybar in the Torre de Latino America. My friend said his parents got engaged there more than 40 years ago.
3) Soho House. I believe the 10th one Ive been to
4) Churro making class
5) An Axolotl aquarium in a Pulqueria - Pulque is a fermented beverage not unlike Kambucha that is quite popular in Mexico
6) Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral and constitution Plaza. A few days later, the president of Mexico would be here for the Mexican Independence day celebration
7) I went Vegan restaurant hunting with @herbivorohippie. CDMX had a wealth of vegan options
8) Looking outside from inside of the National Art Museum. In the foreground is El Caballito and Palacio de Mineria, where there are meteorites sitting next to the sidewalk. In the background, The Torre LatinoAmerica
9) A protest that would result in the Senate being stormed later that day and my bus being late
