Today we’re full of bittersweet emotion, as we release the final planned update for Kinder World: Cozy Plants - and it’s a meaningful one. ❤️

Thanks to the care and feedback from our wonderful players, this update brings a beautifully improved watering experience with speed customization so it suits your own style. We also hope you enjoy caring for your plants inside your very own rooms, and every player will find a special thank-you note with 500 Dog Treats waiting in their mailbox today. 💌

After a lot of difficult navigation, we’ve made the hard decision to end active development on Kinder World: Cozy Plants. The reason is primarily because we haven’t been able to attract enough new players for this particular game to be financially viable. This decision was not made lightly. Since we began this journey back in late 2020, Kinder World has meant so much to us - it carried our founding team through long COVID lockdowns, connected us with many incredible teammates over the years, and grew into a gentle place that over 2.5 million players have touched across the world. 🥹

Today, we are a much smaller team and facing a very difficult environment and market. Guided by our values, we’ve decided to keep paying the server costs so Kinder World: Cozy Plants will still be available to play, but our limited resources and daily development must focus on new opportunities now.

Creating Kinder World for several years has been our dream come true as game developers, and changed our lives forever. We can't wait to share what we're working on next. ❤️

All Kinder World: Mother Tree backers have an update from us, and many questions you may have are answered in our full new update (tap through to our page for the ⛓️ to read it).

Thank you so much, for everything! ❤️

Hi everyone! ✨

We’re working on a Kinder World: Cozy Plants update that significantly improves the watering experience. This update will also make a lot of changes and improvements to the first tutorial! 🍀

This update touches a lot of our older code, and since we’ve been working on this game since early 2021(!) we have to be very careful with our technical work. This means a lot of testing in the background, so please stand by for details when we are confident about this update and can release it to all players! ✍️

Unfortunately some multi-year players have experienced account issues we have not been able to resolve despite a lot of effort, which we understand is frustrating. In all cases we will respond to affected players with our apologies, how to refund anyone affected by these issues if they’ve made purchases, and also share gifts with our sincere appreciation. Please bear with us as we work through our support requests with limited resources, thank you so much! 🙏

Minor update: There’s also a new featured pot in the Shop with a mushroom vibe, for all our cottagecore lovers! 🍄

Thank you and please stand by,
