Part 4 of 4! The easiest part was putting it all together 😅 The diorama and these videos were fun to make and I'm glad I was able to finish them even if it took a while. Closure at last! Haha!

Here's the interior all put together! The picture frames were made of clay and the tiny paintings were made with vinyl paper & markers. I added my IRL lime green slippers to personalize the set 😆

One thing I wished I'd done differently is the floor which ended up being a bit uneven. I'll figure out a better way next time.

Part 3 of 4! I had to "bake" the sculpey clay with a heat gun since I didn't have a toaster oven for it at the time. And the larger plants' stems were made using twigs from the yard.

I'm especially proud of the lamp which was made with sculpey and bits of a toothpick. Didn't expect it to stand on its own since I was going to glue it down anyway but it balanced quite well!

And that's all the tiny props!

Finished the island a while ago, but with the news about Kinder World, I decided to finally post my DA here! It's sad to hear that @kinderworldgame won't be updating the game anymore, so I hope you guys enjoy this island<3
I tried to recreate almost every area from the game, I'm really proud of how this turned out! Can you recognize them all? Let me know!!! Most of the villagers are supposed to represent the in-game characters too, write your guesses in the comments :)

Posters and banderitas (party flags?). Made with paper and markers. The tiny flags were folded over a piece of floral wire & glued together. I didn't take any closeup photos of the tiny wall calendar though.

Part 2 of 4! Even though it's a bit janky, I like how all the pieces (mostly) fit together! Used sculpey for the tiles. Baking soda mixed with glue was clearly a mistake for grout but I was happy with it back then. It's what I had on hand 😅 Window frame was made with cardboard sprue from a boardgame.

I'm really happy with how the wall details turned out: window, wallpaper, paneling and trim.

The foam I originally used for the paneling was too thick so I switched it with cardboard which looks a lot better. The wallpaper is painted on watercolor paper with watercolors and gouache giving it some nice texture.

Part 1 of 4! Those angled table and chair legs were tricky but turned out ok 😄 there was originally a trolley but I decided to turn it into a bookshelf because I needed a tall object to fill up the left side and contrast the shorter elements in the diorama. The books were made of tiny bits of vellum board and foam with markers used to color the covers.

Tiny furniture! I did my best to keep them level but the stool ended up just a bit lopsided. These were made out of balsa wood, chopsticks and toothpicks then painted with goache.

The glue is still wet in these photos haha! But I'm quite happy with how I got the table and chair legs angled just like the ones in the game. The artist's hand holding a miniature wooden table. On the table are tiny props all made with sculpy clay: a desk lamp, a plate of cookies with a brown paw stamped on each one and a tiny potted plant. A book can be seen on the shelf underneath.

As someone who works many jobs because I can’t control my creativity, I often find myself staying up too late or working too long. This usually results in a crash as I eventually get too stressed. I’ve been trying out @kinderworldgame ‘ Mother Tree lately to remind myself to take guilt free rest breaks and it’s helped 🥹.

My favourite by far is the breathing exercises which have helped me be more present and calm!

Mother Tree is free to play via your browser at mothertree.playkinderworld.com and check out their kickstarter which has a just a few days left! Hope you can rest and heal your soul too ❤️
