A facial for less than brunch deserves a spot in the group chat.

We tried the $20 Korean facial at K Ari in Highland, Utah, and this might be one of the most affordable girls’ days in Utah County.

Send this to the friend you are bringing with you. Would you try it?

Tell me you’re from Spanish Fork, UT without telling me you’re from Spanish Fork… 👀👇🏼

You’ve seen The Rock at Spanish Fork High School at least 50 different colors in your lifetime…
and if someone says “they painted the rock again,” you don’t ask which rock.

There was ONE high school.
No Maple Mountain High School.
No Salem Hills High School.
Just Dons.

Dragging Main on a Friday night…

Counting down to Fiesta Days every summer…
and trying mutton bustin’ at least once. 🐑

Jumping off the Salem bridge as a teen and praying no one told your mom.

Knowing exactly where Treeline Road was without needing a map.

And either going through — or at least knowing where — the old Benjamin haunted house was.

Okay… what did I miss? 👀

What officially makes someone a native Spanish Forkian?

My sellers had already signed. We were supposed to close the next day. Then I got the call that the buyers couldn’t qualify.

Having to deliver that news is one of the hardest parts of my job. These are people with packed boxes, plans, and a whole lot riding on that closing.

It’s a reminder of how much your lending team and communication throughout the process matter. Even then, things can fall apart.

So we regroup, get the home back out there, and keep going. I’ll be working my butt off to help my sellers find their next buyer. 🤍

Come see us at the open house tomorrow!
Saturday, October 17 | 12:00 to 2:00 PM

This was almost a solo trip, but it didn’t take much convincing to turn it into a girls’ trip. 🤍 I love that she’s always up for an adventure with me. Iceland, here we come! 🇮🇸✈️

The time to think about carpet and paint is BEFORE you list.

When they’re needed, these are two updates I often feel are worth investing in. In my experience, they can help a home sell faster and put sellers in a stronger position to get a return on that investment.

Buyers see a fresh, inviting home with two big projects already done.

Every home is different, so we’ll look at what makes sense for yours. But waiting until buyers point out those projects means you’ve already missed that first wave of attention.

You get one launch. Let’s make sure your home is ready for it. 🤍 by @kindimortensen

Your dream home at one stage of life might look different from your dream home today. 🤍

Families grow. Kids move out. Priorities shift. What once felt like the perfect fit may no longer work for the life you’re living.

You can love a home and everything it’s held, while still being ready for something that fits your next chapter. taken in Spanish Fork, Utah by @kindimortensen

Some towns have fall traditions. Salem has a Headless Horseman. 🎃

An actual horse, the full getup, and no head in sight. If you spot him riding around town, you’ll understand why everyone wants to find him.

Have you seen him yet? Tell me where 👀👇

Yes—just a few local ones at the end:

An old home filled with books, plants, and a different genre in every room. Planted in Pages is such a darling little find in Provo. 🌿📚

I’m not even a reader, but I can appreciate a bookstore this cute.

Send this to your book loving friend. You just found your next little outing together.

I haven’t had a panic attack in over two years, but I still live with anxiety.

Especially health anxiety. Sometimes I don’t even know why I’m feeling anxious or what’s triggering it. Going two years without a panic attack doesn’t mean I’m cured, but I am getting better. I’m learning how to care for those parts of me, and there is hope, even when progress doesn’t mean every hard day is behind you.

And even after two years, I still remember how terrifying those panic attacks felt.

Sitting in my closet, rocking back and forth, crying, wondering if I needed to wake my husband to take me to the hospital. I never felt suicidal, but I remember wondering, ‘How am I supposed to live the next 30 or 40 years feeling like this?’ It was terrifying to imagine that being my everyday life.

Health anxiety had me constantly afraid that something was wrong. Every sensation could send my mind straight to the worst possible outcome. Sometimes, it still does.

One thing that helped me and still helps when that fear creeps in, is repeating:

I am calm.
I am safe.
I am healthy.

Those words don’t fix everything, but they help bring my anxiety down. Getting back into a consistent gym routine has also been helping. Moving my body and making that time for myself is making a positive difference in how I feel.

I’m sharing what has helped me because I remember how desperately I wanted to feel okay again. If you’re in that place right now, I want you to know that feeling better is possible. You can still have anxious days and be making progress. I know I am.

Please reach out to me if you are struggling. You deserve support. You don’t have to figure it all out alone. 🤍

What helps you when panic or anxiety starts to build? If you’re comfortable sharing, leave it below. Your experience might help someone feel a little less alone. by @kindimortensen
