Ending child exploitation through prevention.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Chicago Cubs pitcher Matt Boyd is a finalist for the 2026 Philanthropist of the Year award!

As the April Most Valuable Philanthropist (MVP), Matt was recognized for his work with Kingdom Home, a non-profit organization he founded with his wife dedicated to ending child exploitation in Uganda. His MVP grant went towards supporting family-style prevention homes that work to protect and provide children with a loving and safe home to grow in.

Each year, Players vote in the Players Choice Awards to recognize their peers for their hard work on and off the field. As part of the nominations, Players elect the Philanthropist of the Year, which celebrates one of the season’s Most Valuable Philanthropists and honors their work with a $25,000 grant. Congratulations to Matt on being a finalist for the 2026 Philanthropist of the Year! by @kingdom.home

We aren’t an orphanage. We don’t focus on rescue. And our support doesn’t simply end when a child turns 18. Our work is about prevention, protection, and long-term support.

Free to Be CONFIDENT⭐️🌷

Confidence grows when children are surrounded by people who believe in them, encourage them, and give them space to discover who they are. We want children to know they are capable of hard things, worthy of being heard, and equipped to pursue the future they dream of!

Every child deserves the freedom to believe in themselves and the future ahead of them🤍 by @kingdom.home

Jacob* shares what freedom means to him:

“To me, freedom means being safe, loved, able to express myself, and having the opportunity to make good choices for my future. It also means being able to go to school, play with my friends, learn new things, and dream about what I want to become when I grow up."

This is what freedom looks like. 🤍

Join us for For The Love of Freedom on November 7 as we celebrate the safety, opportunity, and hope made possible through your support. Tickets available by clicking the link in our bio!
