@hannibaltabu ‘s writing of the destruction of the Bait&Switch Fishin’ Emporium (Shelby City’s Bass Pro), the IRL crack in the bridge (fictionally caused by TORRENT) as well as Williams’s (hero) theme (scored written and performed by @kingeillo ) are all referenced in the WILDFIRE stage of the [REDACTED] Game canonically occurring during issues 1 & 2 of Project: Wildfire. I couldn’t be more proud of the Artist and Being they are becoming.
We, us two, are aliens. Ostensibly strangers to this world. And I take great pride in knowing he will carry the mission well beyond my time here.

Sunday, @weareunapologetic will be represented at the @overtonparkshell 90th Anniversary Weekend in a celebration of Memphis studios alongside @staxmemphis , @thelegendarysunstudio , @royalstudiosmemphis , @americanrecordingstudio , and @samphillipsrecording .

Just look at those names for a second.

These are institutions that helped define what Memphis sounds like to the world. So to see UNAPOLOGETIC. sitting in that company on this flyer is kinda crazy to me.

We’ve spent years building our own thing. Our own sound. Our own culture. Our own rooms. Creating a place for the weird ones, the fearless ones, the people making the next version of Memphis music.

That means a lot to me.
