NAPF Champ, 800.5 kg total, CPU top male lifter of all time on GL points & dots! I'll post my recap later this week but wanted to get a few thank you's!

Thank you to @jasontsg since we started working together, his diligence has been instrumental in helping to blow up my total.

@6packlapadat who got me into the sport, and has been in my corner since day 1.

My wife Joanna for her endless support and letting me delay our honeymoon to compete ❤️.

@coachariank and @jimmykwillard for handling. Plus the rest of the team Canada Coaching team.

Friends and family cheering me on at home.

Everyone for sending me kind words and messages. Sorry for the delay. I'll get back to you! by @kingkaf_

World Championships Meet Recap:
Went 9/9
Finished with a silver 🥈 in the deadlifts and 6th out of 22 overall.
Third attempts:
Squat: 270kg/595lbs
Bench: 167.5 kg/370lbs
Deads: 325 kg/716lbs
Total 762kg
I left more kg's on the table than I would have liked, with comfortable 3rd attempts on all three of my lifts. The challenge with lifting in the B group and not knowing how the rest of the competition was going to unfold.

Huge shout-out to everyone for all the support and kind messages. And all the MVP's that woke up at 3 am est to watch me lift. Thanks @jeff_butt_709 & @garrett_bentley_

Thanks @jasontsg ! This was my first competition working with Jason and we'll have a lot more to show in the future.

Congrats to all the other 83kg competitors.

Overall, the World championships were an amazing experience. I am always honoured to represent team Canada 🇨🇦 by @kingkaf_

Slow & Steady wins the race? Rehab activities, strolls with the fam, a cucumber from my garden I was proud of etc....

World Championships 2026.

Behind the scenes prep wasn't the prettiest. Overall happy with my performance being able to tie my best total & a top 5 placing while lifting injured. It's a testament to the overall progress we've made.

For now the focus will be on recovery and getting back to being 100 percent.

To everyone that reached out, the new friends made and old that I got to catch-up with. Appreciate all the love and support from everyone!

Competing at the World Championships is an experience I will never take for granted.

Shout out to my coaches @jasontsg & @jaynekate_
Rehab @ptandplants

And the team Canada Coaches @garrett_bentley_ @bryce_cbb

Competition Deadlift PR 3 years in the making! I've made huge bounds on squats and bench in the last few years but haven't hit a competition Deadlift PR since NAPF's August of 2023!

I'll fully celebrate this 2.5 kg PR! Progress in each lift isn't always linear, excited to keep pushing this lift further now!

TSG athlete @kingkaf_ represented Canada in the 83kg class at the IPF World Championships, totaling an impressive 815kg and finishing 5th in the world.

Competing in one of the most competitive weight classes in powerlifting, Kafui delivered a world-class performance on the sport’s biggest stage. An outstanding result and a testament to the hard work, resilience, and dedication required to compete among the world’s best. 🔥 by @kingkaf_
