Celebrating lucky number 13 in Skopelos! 💍

We haven’t been totally strict about it but @kingkirch and I vowed to try to visit a new island - somewhere in the world - each anniversary. July 5th has taken us to places as diverse as Jost Van Dyke, Folegandros, the Maldives, Procida, Mallorca, St. Barths, and Nantucket. This year, we’ve added Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonnisos to the list… a whole new island chain we’ve been wanting to visit for years. Happy 13, @kingkirch. We vowed that life would be an adventure… and it’s exceeded all expectations. 🤍

Our little jetsetter is THREE. Three years of adventures, of memories, of laughter, of learning. So thankful for all of the moments we’ve created this year, from life in Anguilla and Italy to new friendships and trips around the globe. We’re looking forward to what 2026 has in store!

And just like that, we have a two year old. ✨

We celebrated Kaia’s first birthday with a fun bash at @nikkibeachsaintbarth last year and honestly, it was just FUN - nothing bittersweet. Today feels different. I’m so thankful for this smart, beautiful, talkative, sweet little girl but also want to pause time in this moment. The past couple of months have felt like we’ve said goodbye to the baby that she was and hello to a child she’s becoming. I’m forever grateful for the adventures we’ve shared this year and cannot wait to see what the next year has in store… but just praying time would slow down a little. 🤍

Motherhood is a crazy journey that no one and nothing really prepares you for. Its wildly challenging and so incredible at the same time. Thankful for this sweet little one who’s teaching me how to be a parent. 💕

Welcome to the world, Kaia Grace Kircher. ✨

Born in Malta on January 2, 2023 at 7lb 10.5 oz, @kingkirch and I couldn’t be more excited for this adventure as a family of three.

There’s so much to share and gratitude beyond words but I couldn’t be more thankful to the midwives at @materdeimalta for such a positive birth experience.

Kaia, you were worth the wait. 💕

Excited to introduce the world to Kaia Grace Kircher. Born at 7 lbs 11 ounces on January 2nd at Mater Dei Hospital in Malta.

Shannon and I are overjoyed. The wait was worth it…

The next chapter begins. ✨

It was a windy road and an unexpected multi-year and multi-country adventure to get here, but hey, we’ve never shied away from adventure.

Naturally I had too much to say after making it past the 12-week mark — full post is up now (including the gender!). The tiniest Kircher arrives 12/31/22 to help us ring in the new year! 👶🏼
