baby’s first hyrox:

earlier this year, i was a spectator at Hyrox ATL and i made a promise to myself i would compete. i will say that opportunity came a lot quicker than i thought, but i knew i had to prove to myself that i was strong enough mentally and physically to complete it. with more training, i can’t wait to see how much my capabilities will grow. shoutout to my support system because i couldn’t have done it without them cheering me on along the way. truly a one of a kind experience.💪🏼🩷

My mother has always been my inpsiration. She carries herself with resilience, grace, and kindness. At a young age, I witnessed how she served in what is now OUR sorority, motivating me to follow her footsteps. I am so blessed to have formed relationships with so many sisters from different walks of life, and I hope to continue to foster growth in our bonds.

To my Grad Advisors and all of Iota Psi Omega, thank you for your mentorship and continued efforts to pore so much into my journey. There was never a day where I wasn’t greeted with love, and I hope to have the same impact on new members to come as you had on me.

To my beautiful Line Sisters, I love you all more than you know. I can count on you all to always have my back and show up when I need it most. I am so lucky to have you for a lifetime.

To T.FT., thank you for giving me grace and allowing me to grow into the mentor I always wanted to be. I am so proud of everything you all have accomplished and the roots you will continue to leave in our chapter and the university.

To K^2, never have I seen a group so eager and passionate to carry the torch. You all remind me why I joined this sorority, to be surrounded by such strong and like-minded women working to make a difference. Saying I am proud is an understatement.

On Friday, December 13th, 2024, I graduated from the one and only University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

I still remember the all nighters and the countless blankets brought to MLC. While it took resilience, I am proud of what I have accomplished. Shoutout to my family who was with me every step of the way.

wow. never thought i would get an opportunity like this. i remember my freshman year looking up to upperclassmen with the goal of planting my own roots at this university. honored to be representing @ugaorientation for this year’s 2023 Homecoming Court. thank you to @ugafirstyearsenate @ncnw_uga @ugawrfc @uganaacp @uga_franklinambassadors @etaxiakas for shaping my college experience and to those who paved the way for me and who has been there for me through it all.

here’s my long overdue tribute to the summer :)

what a task to fit into 10 slides. if you told me in the beginning that this was going to be a life changing experience i would’ve said no way. i took this role during a time in my life where i had so many stressors i didn’t even have time to think. after classes were over, i was finally able to give myself to this job, my team, and my students. all the reflecting made me realize that i really wasn't living in the moment and letting people know how much i truly appreciate them. shoutout to everyone in my corner this university has blessed me with. it was the impact you have had on my life that the least i could do was pour my all into new students coming to UGA.

to the new students i was lucky enough to share memories with, i love you all more than you know. you gave me so much grace in this role and for that, i can't thank you enough. i hope you know you can always lean on me when you need it.

to my team, we went from total strangers to bestie boos. if they asked us to do it all over again i wouldn't hesitate knowing i would have y'all by my side. y'all are like family to me and just know ill be bothering y’all for a long time.🫶🏼
