The picture on the left came up in my memories from sharing a few years ago. This picture was taken before life got fast and complicated. Before the relationship I was in became abusive and before I had the miscarriage the forever changed me, before drugs and alcohol became a way for me to escape myself and my life. Looking back I'm reminded of how I've I come. How I've overcame everything that tried to destroy me! I stand tall today as a 45 year old knowing that the 18 year old me would be so proud of who we've become and I thank that old version of me for never giving up! by @kksanders13

Last night I watched Eric Danes final interview. It's on Netflix and called Famous Last Words. It was filmed in November 2025 and was set to be released following his death.It made me love him even more. His vulnerability left me in tears. He shared of his father's suicide and how it negatively impacted his life. He shared his wins, his failures, the love for his wife and children and how he struggled with addiction and came out on the other side. He mentioned he never felt good enough until he received his ALS diagnosis and feeling how fragile life was, that he realized he had been enough the whole time!For me two of the main takeaways humanity needed to hear is don't wait until you receive a life altering diagnosis to believe that you are enough! You are worthy now and have been good enough you're entire life. Despite what you've been through. Life is too short! The quote in the video below is part of a message he left to his daughters but the world needs to hear it as well!Thank you Eric! 🙏 by @kksanders13

3 years ago today, I began my journey as a Reiki practitioner! I've worked in 3 different locations, traveled and set up at more than 20 events locally and state wide, worked with more than 100 clients, helped plan events, and have successfully cohosted a weekly group reiki/meditation group for the last 5 months! It's been almost 22 years since I survived being stabbed, beaten, and raped by a man who claimed to love me. Although more than 2 decades have passed, I'm still healing the parts of myself that I was told were unlovable. I'm working through triggers, living, loving, and growing all simultaneously.
