One week ago, we celebrated a love story straight out of a fairytale in beautiful St. George, Utah ✨

Watching my incredible stepdaughter @bella.stgeorgemedspa bring her wedding vision to life with such creativity, beauty, intention, and heart was something I will never forget. Every detail reflected who she is: stunning, smart, thoughtful, and endlessly talented.

Me and my husband @davey.shipley are so incredibly proud of her and our new son-in-law @kkjacobsen_ . Their love, hard work, and shared vision for the future is truly beautiful to witness 🤍

It was also so special to see the amazing group of friends standing beside them as their wedding party. The love, loyalty, support, and joy surrounding these two all weekend long was something truly special. We love every one of you who helped celebrate and support them so wholeheartedly ✨

Being asked to officiate their wedding was one of the greatest honors of my life, and standing there surrounded by so much love in breathtaking St. George is a moment I will treasure forever.

Our modern family continues to grow in the most beautiful ways, and my heart feels so full knowing there is so much joy and adventure ahead for all of us 🥂

These two are truly something special ✨ by @kkyoga

Forever grateful for our first yoga teacher 🤍

In 1996, I walked into Bikram Yoga College of India in Kaimukī, founded and owned by @deniselukophotography , simply searching for relief from severe sciatic pain. What I found was so much more than physical healing.

Yoga became the doorway back into my body & my mind … helping me recover not only from pain, but from PTSD after a car accident. It reconnected me to myself in ways I didn’t even know I needed.

Denise didn’t just teach yoga, she built a thriving yoga community in Kaimukī, creating a space rooted in discipline, healing, and deep connection. That community shaped generations of teachers and practitioners, and I am honored to be one of them.

What I would later discover is how deeply connected Denise and I already were. Before I ever met her, I had her photographs hanging as art in my home. Denise was also a professional photographer, and years later I learned she had photographed my father-in-law during the 1970s North Shore surf scene… a true full-circle moment.

Denise, the gift of yoga you shared changed the entire course of my life. I am eternally grateful for your guidance, your vision, and the foundation you gave me.

And now, seeing that legacy carried forward by the amazing @inso_aloha … who I began taking Denise’s classes with me 30 years ago in that tiny second floor studio with the shag carpet lol. Her studio, @hot_yoga_8 here in Kaimukī, continues to carry the same devotion, healing, and community spirit. Thank you for such a beautiful class this morning 🥵😅

This practice is lineage.
This practice is community.
This practice is love. 🙏✨ by @kkyoga

New Years Day Manifestations Workshop @ 12pm EST 1/1/2026
💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫
We would absolutely love for you to join us for our 90 minutes New Year’s Day Manifestations Workshop, a powerful and intentional way to begin the year ahead.
I’m joining forces once again with my soul sister, Tanya Pergament, to hold space for you to plant the seeds of intention for 2026 and bring your dreams to life.

✨ 100% of donations will go directly to The Felix Organization. ✨

What better way to start the new year than by turning the power of our practice into service for children in foster care? Many of you know how deeply Felix is woven into Tanya’s and my hearts... from teaching yoga and meditation at Camp Felix to hosting Om This Way events to raise awareness and funds over the years.

Our time together will include guided writing exercises to clarify intentions, a conscious and joyful vinyasa flow, and a closing visualization meditation to anchor it all in.

I can’t wait to begin the year together, with purpose, heart, and hope💫🫶 Invite your friends!
Both Links are in my BIO -the Zoom link to join us & Felix link to donate if you wish 🙏🏼💫 by @kkyoga
