BAYONNE COMES FROM BEHIND & PUTS UP 4 RUNS IN THE BOTTOM FIFTH TO PUNCH THEIR TICKET TO WILLIAMSPORT 🥶🤯 The New Jersey squad came into the bottom 5th trailing Connecticut 6-4. After Connecticut intentionally walked Mason Rincon to load the bases, Owen Feliz came up clutch with a game tying one hop double off the fence that off the bat looked like a potential grand slam. Jett Bridges would follow that with a go-ahead single. Chase Klimkowski would then single to increase the lead to 8-6. Bayonne would hold on to the 8-6 lead to win the Metro Title

After falling behind early, New Jersey never stopped fighting. They battled back, took control, and finished the job with an 8–6 comeback victory over Connecticut in the Metro Regional Championship!

Mason Rincon was the star on the mound for Jersey as he shut down Connecticut in relief. He didn’t allow a hit or walk, and struck out 8 in four complete innings.

Offensively, Owen Feliz had a night going 2-3, with 5 RBIs!

What a comeback. What a finish. Williamsport, here comes Bayonne NJ!

The boys from Bayonne NJ will represent the Metro Region at the Little League World Series!

Congratulations to the boys from Darien CT, on making it all the way to the championship game. Tough outcome today, but what a phenomenal season to look back on!
