Happy New Year! God was so faithful in 2023, as He always is, so I look forward to 2024 with great expectation.

I just created this account to share not only books that I have acquired and worked on for W Publishing, but other great reads from my colleagues at W and the greater HarperCollins Christian Publishing.

I also plan to feature past books I’ve worked on from various publishers as well as books I had nothing to do with but still think are great. Plus music that I love. And other things I hope are inspiring.

May anything I share here draw you closer to Jesus, inspire you to do great things for God, and encourage you to love your neighbors both near and far.

Since we’re halfway through 2025, I thought perhaps I should finally highlight all the incredible books released in 2024 on which I was blessed to work. (JP’s book just made it, releasing on 12/31, but I may cheat next year and include it again.)

At W Publishing, I want each of my books to become a bestseller, but that’s because I believe in the message and want as many people as possible to benefit from it. It’s more a matter of stewardship for what has been been entrusted to me. And I love working with authors who have that same mentality.

Any accolades or praise belong to God for using these books to help people find inspiration, overcome obstacles, fight sin and temptations, repair relationships, encourage others, and so much more—but ultimately to draw closer to Jesus.

I’ve been in publishing for more than three decades now, and I’m loving it more than ever! taken in Christian Harpercollins Publishing by @klopublishing

Finally getting around to looking back at 2025. It was an incredible year for W Publishing, and these are the books I personally worked on. Many more excellent titles came out from my fellow acquisitions editors to create a stellar list of titles that inspired readers and drew them closer to God.

I still need to pinch myself every day when I consider how blessed I am to work with so many wonderful authors and agents and colleagues. I’ve been in book publishing for more than 30 years, and I’ve been part of some amazing teams and projects (including WILD AT HEART, BLUE LIKE JAZZ, TOTAL MONEY MAKEOVER, and many more), but the past 6 years have been the best of my career. I love Team W and what we are all about!

Looking forward to more impactful books coming out in 2026, including titles from John Bevere, Matt Chandler, Philip Anthony Mitchell, Susie Larson, Wendy Speake, and others. It’s an honor to partner with so many believers in spreading the gospel all over the world.

P.S. I cheated in my 2024 recap in listing JP’s book, but it actually came out last February. by @klopublishing

Well, a #1 title on Amazon is a first for me and it’s been a while since the last one for W Publishing. The best thing about this ranking and all the great podcast interviews? . . . Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell is able to spread the gospel and light a fire under believers all over the world to CONTEND for the faith. Praise the Lord!

From the time I met Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell, I knew God was doing something special through him. We knew we had a big book on our hands, but God is doing more than we could have ever imagined. Only He can get the glory as we humbly and fearfully steward this message.

That first picture taken after the book cover photo shoot . . . PAM is the one who asked that he take a picture with me. His spirit is an incredible mix of power and humility, and that comes through clearly in this book.

Honored to play a small role in the publishing of this book, and grateful for PAM, Lonnell, Jatona, Jevon, John, Amanda, and the rest of the 2819 and W Publishing teams (+ my friend and SP Tim) for all they’ve done to make sure the gospel is proclaimed . . . UNTIL ALL HAVE HEARD! by @klopublishing

What an incredible weekend in Dallas! Jill and I traveled here to join with 80,000 people at AT&T Stadium to pray and worship the Lord. Thank you to Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell and 2819 Church for bringing us together and leading us to the Throne!

It was also a time to be with some of my colleagues to celebrate a few days early the launch of PAM’s new book, CONTEND, which officially releases Tuesday. We are honored to partner with him and to help proclaim this message. Thanks to another author mine, Ed Newton and his wife, Stephanie, for joining us for the evening.

In addition to all of this, it was fun running into David Nasser on our flight and visiting Storied Provisions in Flower Mound, where you can pick up a signed copy of Wendy Speake’s latest book. taken in AT&T Stadium by @klopublishing

Cleaned and organized my cubicle today.

If these were the only books I’ve ever acquired or worked on, they would represent a pretty awesome publishing career.

But there are so many missing from my 30+ years in this business.

I’m truly blessed! taken in Christian Harpercollins Publishing by @klopublishing
