POSTS STORIES REELS

At 10:37 PM on September 17th, Loki crossed over the rainbow bridge. He passed away without pain, with a belly full of dog treats and a Hershey’s Kiss, and surrounded by love.

I’ve spent my entire life around dogs. Loki was the first dog that was truly mine. I adopted him in 2014, a year out of college, as I was trying to find my place in the world. That dog gave me purpose. He taught me patience and compassion and made me a better person.

He never lived up to the expectations of his name as the God of Mischief. Instead, he was the most well-mannered and easy-to-train dog I’ve ever encountered. I never met a person who didn’t rave about how great of a dog he was.

My heart hurts right now. Ten years was not enough time. However, I’m grateful for the time we had. You got me through some rough times, pup. And I hope you know how much you meant to me.

I love you, Loki. 🐾💚

The irony of a post like this isn't lost on me.

Also, I shot this after doing the conditioning work that's a part of my powerlifting program. Yeah, I guess I'm a powerlifter now. A month ago I was asked to be a part of the Space Force’s inaugural team. Time to prove space nerds can be strong too! 🛰️🚀

600lbs Club!

Closed out Squatober with a huge PR! Every rep, every set, and every ounce of grit built up to this moment. This journey was no joke, but the payoff was worth every drop of sweat. Onward to the next challenge.

The ride lasts 8 seconds.

The story lasts a bit longer.

I hit the streets with one mission: find out who actually knows what the Space Force does. 🚀🛰️

The answers were… mixed.
