Same birthday, completely different humans — and somehow the perfect pair.

Watching you grow into the funny, smart, kind, slightly ridiculous teenage boys you are has been one of the greatest joys of our life. You keep us laughing, keep us on our toes, and definitely keep our grocery bill impressive. 😂

I’m so proud of who you both are and even more excited to see who you become.

8/17/98 - the day our world changed. 28 years since losing our dad. I was 18 then, and 46 now…that’s the craziest part to me because he was 46 when he lost his 6-year battle with cancer. If that doesn’t put life into perspective, I don’t know what can!

Today also happened to be a big day for the Mize fam! Riley started his year-long youth leadership program, the twins are LOVING and doing well in high school, Greg continues to crush all the things (IYKYK 😂) and I had the opportunity to advocate for maternal mental health on a podcast.

If you’ve lost someone you love, believe me I KNOW, sometimes it feels like grief will never end. But if you’re reading this, I want you to hear….grief never goes away, but it does become LESS of the center of our world, of our being. And I have always leaned on this…you may not know it YET, (no…it didn’t happen for a reason 🙄🙄🙄) but can you find PURPOSE in your pain. Can you allow your hardest moments to shape your character, and deepen your compassion for others…anywho, just my thoughts ♥️ by @kmize1

Finally! A weekend we were all together! ♥️ Grayson’s Dirty Birds team fought incredibly hard and was so fun to watch all the way to the championship game! They lost 6-4, but left everything out there - can’t ask for more!

Bonus was that Matty got to play with them as well, and picked right back up where he left off last fall with this crew 🥰

Riley was a sweet big brother (for the most part 😂) and we all had a lot of laughs - mostly on my account bc I just have NO IDEA what they’re talking about half the time 😂
