And just like that 2026 markets are done. Here’s the haul from @cowichanstationhub, who put on an amazing market!
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported me, stay tuned for updates on the website over the coming months!

The massive 1600grams of English Wool is from ENUFF

The green and blue 50 gram batts (plus a gorgeous mug that’s already made its way to my mom) is from @scrumptious_ewe

The cones, malabrigo and hedgehog fibers are from the room upstairs…
Update! I have been informed correctly of where this amazing cones and all come from. The tzouhalem spinning and weavers guild was having a massive destash sale!! by @knotsoseriousknitting

The cats in the hat were stopping everyone in their tracks all day long at the market this past weekend. I’m so incredibly happy with how the colors came out.

The colors I used…
- Walnut Husk
- Safflower
- Lac
- Madder

Knot So Serious is the colourful creation of Annika, a Victoria, BC maker who turned her love of knitting—and a longtime dream of owning her own business—into a naturally hand-dyed yarn company. With encouragement from a supportive fibre community, Annika took the leap and began experimenting with natural colour, building Knot So Serious one dye pot at a time, right from her own kitchen.

Working in small batches, Annika creates naturally dyed yarn in DK and fingering/sock weights, with fibre occasionally joining the mix too. Natural dyeing brings its own element of discovery to the process: subtle shifts, variations, and surprises become part of the colour, giving each batch its own character.

For Annika, Knot So Serious is both a creative adventure and a dream becoming real. It brings together her love of knitting, her curiosity about natural colour, and the community that encouraged her to give that dream a chance. From Annika’s kitchen dye pots to another maker’s needles or hook, each hank gets to become part of the next creative story.
