Meet the winemaker behind the wines of @KoehlerWinery! 🍷

At the heart of the estate is Winemaker and Vineyard Manager Trace Brueske, whose passion for the land guides every bottle. After studying wine and viticulture at Cal Poly and gaining experience at renowned wineries including Goldeneye, Bien Nacido and Stephen Ross, Trace joined Koehler in 2022 with a thoughtful, vineyard-first approach to winemaking.

From revitalizing Koehler’s heritage vines to introducing Loire Valley-inspired varieties like Gamay, Cabernet Franc and Picpoul Blanc, Trace is honoring the estate’s history while helping shape its next chapter. Using native fermentations and a restrained approach in the cellar, his goal is simple: let the character of the fruit and the land shine through.

Ready to taste the story for yourself? 🍇 Let's plan a visit to Koehler and explore the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail, where beautiful vineyards, distinctive wines, and Santa Barbara Wine Country await! by @koehlerwinery

Ninety-five. We’re proud and so grateful to continue doing what we love. Thank you @wineenthusiast for recognizing our whole-cluster Syrah.

“This whole-cluster bottling retains a brilliant amount of freshness, showing white peppercorn, brick elderberry and dried meat aromas on the nose. The palate is tightly woven but not overly tannic, presenting zesty raspberry, rose petal, pepper and savory herb flavors. Drink now-2038.” - Matt Kettmann.

Come by this week to try our whole-cluster Syrah on our summer tasting flight. by @koehlerwinery

🐶Dogs on the Lawn was one for the books!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to Koehler Winery and made our Dogs on the Lawn event such a special day! We’re so grateful for all of your support and for helping us give back to the animals in our community.

A very special thank you to Santa Barbara Humane for the incredible work you do, Grill and Groove for keeping everyone fed, and Nose of Justice for bringing all the pups some delicious treats! 🌭🐾

And of course, thank you to every person and pup who joined us, enjoyed some wine, and helped make the day so memorable. We couldn’t have done it without you! 🩷

Until next time, cheers to good wine, good people, and happy dogs! by @koehlerwinery
