Still coming down from the astronomical levels @thefivepointsproject reached at @lovesupremefest 😮‍💨

Always such a joy performing with them and SHUTTING IT DOWN. And it doesn’t hurt having 300 odd people shouting THERE’S RICE AT HOME back at me 😂

On top of that this was a particularly special set because the lager of choice at the festival was Estrella Damn, which gave me a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reach never before seen levels of comedy. Grateful 😌

Hellooo beautiful people!!! I humbly come to you in my time of need 🫵😌

This October I’ll have the incomparable privilege or representing England at the World Poetry Slam Championship in Durban, South Africa! 🌍

Unfortunately travel costs to get to the Championship this year are unfunded and whoo boy does it cost a fair bit to get to South Africa from here… 😅

As much as I’d love to burn myself out figuring out a way to do it all by myself, one of my New Year’s resolutions was to get better at asking for help - so I’ve set up a gofundme!

Literally anything you can spare would make a world of difference in getting me there and showing the world how we do spoken word in these parts 😎

And on the odd chance there are any extra donations, I’ll pass it along to a local charity! Or put it towards getting better prizes for the next @heart.ofthe.community

ROUND 2 ‼️‼️😤😤

This time last year I was lucky enough to perform some poetry with @offthe_chest at @lovesupremefest and I’m happy to say I’ll be back for some more.

This time around I’ll be jamming with @thefivepointsproject so if you’re about on Sunday come through to Bands and Voices at 6:30pm for a party and a boogie (and we can all go see De La Soul together after) 🕺🏾

The world’s tallest artist at the world’s largest performing arts festival?? It was only a matter of time. 😤

I’ll be heading off to @edfringe with @spitnights and some of my favourite fellow poets and musicians to bring our special flavour of vernacular vibes to Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I do not currently have a fringe nor did I when I was last in Edinburgh, which was probably for the best as I was rather windswept. Potentially considering getting one for the occasion though, I dunno..
