THROWBACK THURSDAY Kristina Nelson Notre Dame (2013-18) 🔥🔥

The Buford, Georgia native helped lead Notre Dame to a National Championship her senior season

Nelson was also apart of 2 national championship runner-up teams, and an additional Final Four and Sweet Sixteen appearance. The Fighting Irish won 4 Conference Tournament championships, 5 regular season conference championships, and had a 174-13 record during her five seasons playing in South Bend

She was a top 35 ranked recruit in the country coming out of high school by @koko50

I miss you. I wish you were still here with me, with us. I am so incredibly thankful for the years I got with you. The strongest woman I know and will forever be my role model. You never approached life without a smile and a badass mentality, no matter what life threw at you. No more cancer. No more treatments. Just joy and happiness. Words can describe how much I miss you, how empty the house feels but I’ll carry you with me forever. Nothing is or will ever be the same. You can rest now, we got it from here. #fuckcancer
