Zoutelande hat & cowl by @gk.knits

Gudrun often holidays at Zoutelande on the Dutch coast. This beautiful hat & cowl were inspired by her many visits.

The pattern combines Kokon Bleu Fingering weight and kidsilk in a Jean Michel 3 colour fade.

Life is busy and I share too little of my creative process.

I figured out the final layout if of my Porcelaine shawl design and what a treat to see it next to the hand block printed backing fabric.

Porcelaine shawl is offered by select Kokon Bleu retailers. We are working on our first run shipping mid November to retailers.

🎀October is cancer awareness month.

In aid of this very important cause that touches so many lives we have knitted up the lovely Polar teddy jacket by @ann.ka.thrin in our new Slubby mohair dipped Pink 100g skeins.

Our sample is knitted in size M using just under 7 skeins. Model is size S

The pattern calls for size 7 mm needle and to use the yarn double but we used a single thread.

The yarn is available in semi solid, speckle, tie dye and dipped. Each 100g skein has 100 m.
