Pattern: #posiepointelletop by @mipithelabel
Yarn: @kokonbleu Merino Linen

A rushed project so I could make it for mom’s birthday. I managed to finish blocking it the day before my flight, and was sewing on buttons till midnight 😅

It was my first time using both Kokon Bleu yarn and Mipi’s pattern. I chose the Merino Linen, a light fingering weight, instead of the suggested DK for a lighter, drapier feel. I was a bit worried it might be too holey, but the yarn bloomed after blocking. Mipi’s pattern was clear and easy to follow, and you can tell the care Mipi gives her customers. I might make the no-button version for myself 💙

She’s donnneee!! And I love her!

I realized two thirds of the way through that I was knitting with a needle two sizes smaller than intended- which means I ended up with a Small instead of a Large. I picked up the arms at the rate of XL and kept rolling with it- and some aggressive blocking later? It fits the vibe of an old jcrew pullover I wore to pieces over the years. Knitting is magic!!!
