Dear friends, this year I am planning the Berlin Half Marathon. And so that the whole race isn't just an end in itself, I registered for the Sea Watch donation run. I would be very happy if you could support me with a small amount. The money goes to the Sea Watch organization, which saves people from drowning trying to escape across the Mediterranean.
I am aware that the issue of illegal migration is extremely controversial. But no matter how I twist and turn it: It is a fact that people continue to make the dangerous journey across the Mediterranean. And the rescue of these people is m.M. without alternative. Of course, at the same time, the causes that motivate people to leave their homes must be combated. However, as long as these continue to exist, it is our task to ensure safe refugee routes in the rich north!
You can find the link for donations in my Bio.
