I hope one day I get to dive in to another character like her and get back on s#rage in a musical. @barbozamethod for capturing it. 📣 NEW SHOW ALERT 📣

MAROONS premieres @thefordla on October 16, and I am SO damn excited to be debuting the role of Assata Olugbala Shakur!!!

Set in 1833 and beyond, the genre-bending theatrical performance MAROONS opens with a real runaway slave advertisement and blossoms into a layered journey following Eve and Celine, two women who refuse the conditions imposed on them and make a daring escape toward a hidden colony of maroons.

One night only–get your tickets today (link in bio)!!!
