Kicking off 2025 with a new piece. My take on the holiday season with a twist of fashion.

Saying goodbye to the holiday season with the first drop of my new series called XO (Extra Ordinary) which is a collection of fashion focused explorations.
In this drop I tried to create a a workwear-inspired, full denim outfit with a streetwear and pop culture twist, tailored for Santa this winter! Super challenging process, but very fun to work on. I’ll be sharing some behind the scenes and more insights into the XO collection and my creative process for this drop.

“Fade to Black” portrays the times when we find ourselves stuck in past memories and experiences that once brought us joy. The struggle to move forward while those memories form a prison that is both confining and comforting. They offer peace yet hinder our progress, creating a conflict between illusion and reality.

This piece concludes my origami series. I tried to explore the venerable side of our nature. I hope it resonates with you.

This piece is about the limbo state we get stuck in where we are dealing with the fear, stress and uncertainty of what is going to happen in the future, and how we cope with it.
We self-reflect, hearing voices and conflicting thoughts in our heads, as we navigate through past memories and conversations. We may even create imaginary dialogues for future scenarios, attempting to learn from past mistakes and seek solutions—all in the pursuit of finding peace for ourselves.

-Comfort Zone-✨

The term “comfort zone” refers to a familiar and secure space we retreat to when we feel overwhelmed. As a child, I found comfort in creating origami cranes whenever I had to do something that didn’t interest me. Over time, making art has become my go-to source of solace. In this piece, I sought to represent my personal safe space by combining elements from my past and present comfort zones.

However, while working on this piece, I realized that stepping out of my comfort zone was necessary to fully express myself. I experimented with fashion and learned a lot of things along the way which was incredibly joyful(with a lot of pain too haha). I hope that this piece resonates with you as well and if you read all of this you’re a legend.

10 year old boy, Kian Pirfalak was shot and murdered by the Iranian Islamic government on November the 16th.
The propeller boat is one of his creations that he made for a competition. Scroll through the last slide to see him explain it.
