We partnered with @questrade on their rebrand, translating nearly 25 years of legacy into a new motion and 3D system with the brand direction and strategy by @porto_rocha. Inspired by movement and physics, we explored ways to give structure to abstract financial concepts. Physical instruments became visual metaphors for each product, creating a logic that makes these ideas feel tangible and functional. Each product becomes its own mechanism, building toward one larger system. Thank you to Questrade for the opportunity to play such a central role in this work, and glad to be working alongside some familiar faces on this one! 💫

Time is a construct.⏳ So we reconstructed it, dissecting the architecture that builds every second. The chronograph works in open view, revealing the precision engineered into every component. As the watch comes apart, so does our perception of time. Fast becomes slow. Slow becomes fast. Frames stretch, distort, fracture, and fall out of sync, turning digital artifacts into visual traces of time unravelling. Yet at the centre, the mechanism never loses its rhythm. Shout out to @pauljdalton for the insane edit. True to the Hublot ethos, the Big Bang Reloaded hides nothing. For this campaign, we moved away from the architectural restraint of its predecessors and embraced something louder. Faster. And more visceral. The exposed architecture reveals the rhythm beneath the surface, transforming the measurement of time into a performance of precision. We imagined the chronograph as an entity suspended between intent and action, alive with tension and possibility. The components disassemble to reveal the beauty behind the piece, while speed, colour, and light burn the moment into your mind. The Big Bang Reloaded leaves a legacy that is slightly rebellious and unmistakably Hublot. Last week, I had the chance to join a panel conversation at the Textile Museum of Canada here in Toronto 🧵✨ Hosted by @icnicastro we dove into the making of the digital piece, digital fashion, and the space where technology, craft, and storytelling meet. It was great to slow down, talk process, and go beyond the final result. Big thank you to everyone who came out, asked thoughtful questions, and shared the moment. Learn more about 'From Cloth to Code' in a panel discussion featuring exhibiting artists Arice, Cyrill Durigon, and Kousha Motamedi on January 14 from 5:30 - 7 PM. Moderated by exhibition curator Ignazio Nicastro, the conversation will unpack how these CGI artists position their practices as cultural disruptors, engage directly with unsettling realities, and leverage digital bodies and forms as vehicles for identity exploration. 'From Cloth to Code' is currently on view at the Textile Museum of Canada until February 1, 2026. This exhibition reimagines textile heritage and practices using interactive technologies, sound installations, 3-D printed sculptures, animation, LED neon, and projections through the perspectives of nine Toronto-based artists. Another year in the books! 2025 was an incredible year of growth for TOMO. We hosted some amazing meetups with great turnouts and were lucky to bring together such a strong community throughout the year. We ran a four-month-ish community Card Challenge led by @tigerbacon , and the community came together to complete almost half a deck. It has already inspired us to aim for finishing the full deck next year. We held five talks in total, featuring: @jenniedavis_ca @sexwithawhaleinc @cyrill_cc @koooshaaa @aricecg @juliadeakin from @iamstatic @shykids_ @studiotendril & @vininaso We’ve been incredibly lucky to have generous studios host many of our talks in their spaces and, in several cases, help cover part of the event costs. Beyond that, most of the talks have been funded out of pocket through our studio, @escafandra.studio . That’s why we’re especially grateful to now have additional support that helps us cover most of the event expenses. A huge thank you to @maxonvfx for their continued support!
