Let's commemorate this unforgettable experience, which also happens to be my very first video interview!!! I never imagined that I would be interviewed by someone, but it just happened. There are no words to describe how happy and unforgettable this experience was for me. I will strive harder and keep up the work! Many thanks to everyone I met during this amazing journey and to those who supported me along the way. Thanks!!!

When I say the word "Rolex," the first thing that comes to mind may be the iconic GMT, Submariner, or Explorer. Something full of exploration, adventure, and classic. But you may never have thought that the word "Rolex" could also be associated with something full of tradition: opera, Cantonese opera, xiqu.

Hence, here's the other side of Rolex you may never have thought that, xiqu with its elegance and tradition, meets modern watchmaking. The performances are extraordinary, especially the sword fight, but I can't show it. Still I highly recommend that if you have time, enjoy the show, they will offer you dim sum and tea too! taste delightful. Thank you, Rolex, for having me!!!

Finally have time to organize all the footages! Even though a month has passed, I have some really good memories from the Hong Kong Watch Fair. It was a truly fulfilling experience. Thanks to HKTDC for their support — from filming to exhibiting, so many opportunities. I even got to exhibit my own arkwork!!! Plus got to film with Dear Jane's Jackal, what a pleasure. Have you ever wondered a piece of cardboard that you throw every single day can be turned into a art piece?

Here, in Salon De Time, we have the founder of @labeg , Gabriel to teach us how to turn a piece of cardboard into a piece of artwork.

It looks simple, but difficult to manage.

Shout out to LEBEG and HKTDC @hktdclifestyle making this workshop happen.
It really does bring a whole new experience to me and I enjoy it so much.

A long awaited expected unexpected return of Rolex annual calendar. The Rolex Perpetual Padellone!

And my first reaction is"Finally! Yesssssssss!!!"As i been waiting for this long time ago.

The story begins when i was 17, 5 years ago. I was doing a history research about Rolex, especially Daytona. When I was doing high school exam, I dedicate half a year to do a Rolex history article now featuring in @watchprofessor website. When I'm doing the research I stumble upon a history about a Rolex Moonphase complete history by Jake's Rolex World. And learned about the Rolex Moonphase can be chased back to 1949 when Rolex releases the Reference 8171. The first Moon Phase watch Rolex ever made.

Rolex made the ref.8171 between 1949 to 1952 in yellow gold, pink gold and in stainless steel. It was quick large at the time at 38mm, and was called "Padellone" translated into English means "Large Frying Pan." But this would be timeless today. The 8171 incorporates a snap-back case, so it was not waterproof.

In 2016 Phillips Rolex Milestones Auction. A stainless steel Rolex Triple-Date Moon Phase was sold for just over $1Million USD!

Then a short year later in 1950 Rolex introduced the waterproof Reference 6062 Moon Phase.

The Reference 6062 was the world's first waterproof triple calendar moon phase watch ever made to coupled a moon phase with an Oyster case. The yellow and pink gold versions has the "SWISS" dial designation at the bottom, and "SWISS MADE" for Stainless Steel. Also the stainless steel versions were only made in 1953.

A 1952 Black dial Rolex moon sold for 5 million USD in Philips Aucton Geneva! This particular Triple-Date Rolex Moon phase was once owned by Bao Dai, who was the Last Emperor of Vietnam. Making it one of the most expensive Rolex ever sold.

But the story comes to an hold with a sudden production of the moon phrase Rolex and we need to wait until 2017 to have a new Rolex model Rolex Cellini Moonphase Ref. 50535. Marked Rolex's modern return to the lunar complication. Until now in 2026 we have the new model.

So it was indeed an expected unexpected surprise!

Featured in Piaget x GQ Newspaper!!!

A cocktail event where watches and trendy fashion intersect.

When the refined texture of a wristwatch and the stylistic expression of an outfit are presented together, it helped me understand "how to pair, how to present" within the same visual frame.

How watches and clothing coordinate, and how they complement each other—through the designs of both, a remarkable style is built, giving you a different kind of feeling. At this event, I was enlightened and had my questions answered one by one.

今次喺現場向 @kory_kwok 偷師，親身體驗傳統手工雕刻

原來揸雕刻錘並唔係靠蠻力，而係要用手指靈活借力，控制力度同節奏，先可以雕刻出極細緻嘅線條

Kory 分享，呢枚作品以更自由嘅設計概念去呈現，但由開始到完成，仍然需要投入約 300–400 小時

當知道每一道紋路都係一錘一錘慢慢雕刻出嚟，更加令人感受到手工工藝嘅價值

This time at China (Shenzhen) Watch Week, I had the chance to learn traditional hand engraving from @kory_kwok.

What surprised me most was that engraving isn’t about hitting harder. It’s about using your fingers to control the hammer with precision, rhythm, and just the right amount of force to create incredibly fine details.

Kory shared that this piece was designed with a more playful and creative approach, yet it still required around 300–400 hours to complete.

When you realize every line is hand engraved, one strike at a time, you gain a whole new appreciation for the craftsmanship behind it.
