Stayed in the Jewish Ghetto of Rome last year and fell in love with the vibes, the community, BUT THE FOOD?! 🤩 GUYSSS — some of the best food we ever ate in our lives‼️ I’m not exaggerating. Here are 5 of my favorite spots you must try:

📍 BONA Pizza — Via del Portico d’Ottavia 7

Craziest Pizza experience ever. Endless flavors of rectangle pies, sold by weight — so you can actually get to try a piece of everything. So fun! My favorite was the Caccio e Pepe pie.

📍 Kosher Cakes Bakery — Via del Portico d’Ottavia 1a

Cute little bakery — with the best Martiozzi ever. It’s a fluffy brioche type donut filled with this airy whipped cream. So addicting! We literally had to go back and get more everyday.

📍 Baghetto (Milky & Bakery) — Via del Portico d’Ottavia 2A / 3

From modern Italian classics at Baghetto Milky — to the coolest fancy French desserts at Baghetto pastry shop, these 2 Baghetto spots had it all. We finally got to try famous Roman fried artichoke here! And the round filled croissants at the pastry spot were insane.

📍 Pasticceria Boccione — Via del Portico d’Ottavia 1

Tiny, old-school, ancient bakery, and the most famous in Rome. Lines there every day. The cherry ricotta pie was unreal. The tops of the pies might look burnt, but that’s how they’re supposed to be. They’re still doing things the same way for over 200 years. And the pizza ebraica was so interesting!

📍 Casalino Osteria — Via del Portico d’Ottavia 1e

Cozy family-run spot, with the best homemade pastas we’ve EVER had. Truffle burrata ravioli was insane. They also had amazing fried cheese balls and crispy fried cod, which is a Roman speciality. Most authentic meal we had there.

KOSHER VIRAL PUSH POP SUSHI🚨🍣🔥 O.M.G. Guyss!!!! The craziest new way to eat sushi on the go is finally here — and this is your sneak peak 👀 it’s the first of its kind in the Kosher world!! If you’ve been wanting to try this, now you’ll finally be able to. They’re being released SOON! The sushi is stacked in a tube, and it comes with a stick of soy sauce attached to the side. You pop off the stick and then pour the sauce onto the sushi roll. Then you use that same soy sauce stick to push up the sushi one by one, and just bite them off the stack. You can keep adding soy sauce as you go. So fun and satisfying to eat.

They’re releasing these sushi push pops really soon! So honored to be the first to try. I haven’t seen something this crazy in the Kosher scene in a LONG time 🤩 stay tuned for the release day.

@noribar_ is opening their new King’s Highway location in 2 weeks and that’s where you can get these‼️ Their other locations will serve them too.

COOLEST KOSHER SANDWICH IN NY?! ➡️ Crispy fried pita stuffed w/ steak shawarma🔥🥩 This authentic Israeli spot in Brooklyn has taken the classic shawarma sandwich to the next level. The fried pita literally tastes like a SCHNITZEL! Extra crispy but still soo soft & fluffy inside. Went perfectly w/ the steak shawarma…but you can fill it with any kind of meat you choose. Literally one of the craziest things we ever ate! Have you really had a shawarma sandwich if you haven’t had this one?😏 They serve many other Israeli classics like schnitzel, kabobs, falafel, the list goes on 🇮🇱

NEW Shabbat Dinner in the city—at Malka on the UWS‼️🚨✡️ and it was suchhh a vibe!! Since we can’t video on Shabbat, we recreated it on a weeknight to show you guys what’s in store 🤩

It’s a mix of the Malka classics + Shabbat staples. Think Challah, wine, fresh dips, salatim, and fish. Then mashed potato stuffed schnitzel (obviously) and roast beef. And obviously don’t forget dessert 🍮 . It’s so nice to just relax on Fridays not having to prep, and show up here with everything taken care of for you. We all know and love Malka already, and now you can have the experience on Shabbat too. It’s just different and has a special feel to it. Prepaid tickets are on sale on their websites for various weeks, and cost $180 per person + tax (gratuity is included in the price). You get a pre-fixe menu, dessert, wine, and cocktails 🍷

Only Kosher Michelin Star Restaurant in the WORLD‼️🌎— and yes it’s worth the hype 🤩 This wasn’t a regular meal…it was an experience. I’ve never tasted food with so many interesting flavors in my entire life. And I’m not just saying that. Every dish had so many components and flavors going on that I had to take a minute to process after I took a bite. It’s the type of place where you just need to try everything, even foods you wouldn’t typically like, because the chef just makes them into something totally different and special. It’s a farm-to-table restaurant so they only use the freshest ingredients and the menu is always changing according to what’s available. @razxmutra puts such creative attention to detail into every dish and you really taste it. Don’t even know what everything we got was, but I really loved it all. And look, it’s not the type of place you go to every week but it’s definitely somewhere you wanna go to at least once to experience this. And whenever you go back, there will always be new things on the menu to try. The Michelin star is highly deserved 🌺

Kosher Fried Chicken heavennnn🍗🤩🔥‼️ The ONLY thing on the menu at this restaurant is fried chicken….that’s how you know it has to be good. You can have it on toast, as tenders on their own, in a sandwich, but that’s all they have. Fried chicken is one of my favorite foods and I LOVED this. So so perfectly crispy, battered and fried to perfection, but still so juicy inside. And you have to dip it in their special sauce! We ended off with their dulce de leche soft serve for dessert — and it actually tasted dairy 🍦Such a good comfort food spot and I highly reccomend going if you love fried chicken tenders.

Tomahawk Steak Flambéed Tableside 🔥🥩‼️ It’s dinner AND a show 🤩 I think just found the coolest Kosher steak in NY. It’s literally on fireee. Doma is so well known for all their amazing meat dishes, sushi, and desserts, but I never got to try this steak before. It was an experience! So fun to watch and the steak was so soft so juicy and so flavorful. And we obviously had to make room for dessert to try the limited edition babka sundae by my friend @jaxxsnax 👩🏻‍🍳 Her babka in UNREAL 🍫

KOSHER RESTAURANT ON A FARM‼️🐴🥩 This is one of the coolest kosher spots I’ve ever been to in my LIFE. Such a vibe!!! You park on the grass and walk down the farm until you reach the restaurant. It’s an Argentinian BBQ grill. They have everything from steaks and sausages to burgers and schnitzel. Everything is made fresh right there. My favorite was the burger and the beef schnitzel — it was like a steak schnitzel and sooo good! After dinner we sat around the bonfire to roast marshmallows and made the gooiest s’mores. Suchhhh a unique and fun experience and I highly reccomend going if you’re in Florida! It’s not everyday that you get to eat dinner on a farm.

ONLY KOSHER BAKEY BABKA JUST OPENED‼️🍪🍞 This bakery is famous in Boston, and they just opened their first location in Florida, and it’s Kosher! So obviously had to run to check it out. This bakery comes from master Chef Uri Scheft @urischeft behind Breads Bakery in NY. That’s not kosher, but this is where I finally got to try his creations. They have everything from pastries and breads to breakfast classics and of course BABKA🍫 It’s an adorable spot with such a cute aesthetic. And everything i baked fresh daily. My top picks would have to ge the focaccia and the fun flavored babkas. Also the lattes were REALLY good ☕️ Now all we need is a location in NY.
