At Kove, every decision has come back to a simple question: how do we want people to feel?

We’ve thought deeply about every detail. The name. The atmosphere. The materials. The rituals. The flow of the space.

“When tasked with designing the website for Kove, it started with a question: How can the website make you feel like you’ll feel when you visit in real life? We wanted the site’s design to feel restorative, so I pulled layout inspiration from design magazines that inspire me, and that I want to read when I want to disconnect. We used colours inspired by nature and the Atlantic coast to reference the hot and cold cycle itself, while atmospheric photography was chosen that evokes feeling.“

“My design inspiration behind Kove was to create a considered atmosphere for the client who wants to feel a true escape. I wanted to create spaces that feel like separate experiences as you flow through your journey of hot and cold elements - to ground and melt into a safe and tranquil space. A big focus was placed on spatial design and flow. Every element is meant to evoke a quiet feeling of understated luxury.”

“Hydrotherapy was a mainstay treatment paradigm of Physiotherapy in the 80’s. Like society, our profession has drifted from its roots. Kove hopes to bring physiotherapy back to the soil and using natures power to grow a new career and therapeutic pathway.”
