Half of the @moonbasepateldisco, label head of @bluesun.bp. Space is the place!

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

On August 31 – after some very tough months – I decided to hop on a train to Sibiu, Romania, towards the Big Unknown. Earlier, I had applied for a volunteer job at @inslujbamuntelui , a local NGO making big efforts to restore and maintain hiking routes across the southern part of the Romanian Carpathians. I knew almost nothing about the job: everything was in Romanian, and I had never met anyone doing anything similar.

It turned out to be one of my biggest adventures ever. Not only was it very beneficial for my mind and body, but I also feel like I contributed to the Greater Good. Highly recommend experience!

If you’re interested in going on a similar adventure, hit me up! I’m happy to answer all your questions.

Just go and get out there!

Next Saturday will be an important one for the label: not only will we get the chance to showcase our musical family at the prestigious House of Music Hungary, but our 3rd compilation cassette, Blue Sun VA III, will also make its physical debut that day!

The line-up:

16:00-17:45 Azami b2b Vava
18:00-18:50 Gnork
19:05-19:10 Shakar Trio video clip premier
19:10-20:00 Shakar Trio
20:15-22:00 Blue Sun System (Hanussen & Kozmo D)

And if that wasn’t enough, Shakar Trio’s new animated video, created by Skultéty Hanna, Józsa Eszter and Bácsi Janka, will also debut on the House’s huge LED screen, followed by a live visual performance by the trio.

Of course, we’ll also bring whatever is left from our back catalogue, including the very last 6 copies of the Hakumba record, recently discovered in the storage. And some fancy new stickers!

See you at the House!

We are truly honored to have the opportunity to bring Blue Sun to Hungary’s most iconic festival, Ozora, and to share the stage with so many great local friends and colleagues: Fluidum, Peaq, Fanni Zahar, Bodoo, Tsu, Lazy Raga Calm, Swanasa, Switch Nollie, and many more.
Hanussen & Kozmo D will play their soothing-yet-trippy b2b set starting at 11 AM on Thursday at the Ambyss stage, during the festival’s planned off-time, while all the other stages go silent. The perfect setting to hear the Blue Sun at its highest point in the sky! 🔵☀️ by @kozmoo_d
