~ Birds of St.Paul Island Alaska 🐦 📸

While visiting the island for a day on our Alaskan expedition with @hxexpeditions we managed to spot Parakeet Auklets, Horned Puffins, Tufted Puffins, Red-faced cormorants & many other bird species who call this remote island’s cliffs home.

~ Black bears catching salmon in one of the rivers of Tongass National Forest 🐻

While on board @hxexpeditions I got a change to visit and document the yearly salmon run where every summer hundreds of thousands of pink salmon return to spawn in these rivers.

It’s an incredible spectacle that brings all kinds of wildlife together, and for a wildlife photographer, there are few things better than being there to witness and capture it. 📸

~ Bobcat portrait taken in the Canadian wilderness. 🐱

This was my first encounter with a bobcat after many years of almosts. I was on a sunset hike when I suddenly noticed something moving in the nearby bushes. Moments later, the head of a bobcat appeared from behind a rock, and I couldn’t believe my eyes.

I had a wide-angle lens attached to my camera, so I quickly switched to a longer lens. A few minutes later, the bobcat slowly continued on its way, and we did the same, leaving each other in peace.
