Thanks to everyone who came out last night for our first crafty social! We made horns, (except for Giselle who made a tentacle 🐙).

We also revealed our theme for our Halloween parade!

M👹NSTER MASHUP!

Oh the fun we'll have costuming and parading! Details about Halloween will be posted here so you'll know where to catch us.

Big thanks to @basiccitybeerco_rva for graciously hosting us!

In other news, Krewe d'Éclat! will be at the #DollyParade on Sept. 13th! More on that soon...

Interested in joining? Sign up on the website krewedeclat.org. We'll be officially accepting members mid-October!

You're invited to a krewe social on Wednesday, Sept. 2nd at 6:30pm at Basic City Brewing Co!

This is a most exciting social, because we'll be announcing our krewe theme for our Halloween parade! 👹

Jennifer will be teaching y'all how to make lightweight horns, just in case you need them for your costume. (But even of you don't, it's a great easy skill to have.)

Please bring the roll of foil from your kitchen and some masking or painters tape. (A tape that can be painted). If you have a plain hard plastic headband, bring that too, but don't worry about it if you don't.

Not the costuming type? Thinking you'll join the krewe as a support member instead? Come anyway! Have drinks and hang with us.

DETAILS:
Wednesday, Sept. 2
6:30pm
Basic City Brewing Co
212 W. 6th St.
RVA 23224

Supplies:
Foil
Masking or painters tape
Headband if you have one

Looking forward to seeing you soon!

You're invited to a Krewe d'Eclat Social this coming Wednesday, July 8th at 6:30pm at Mainline Brewery!

We'll be having drinks and getting to know each other! Krewe founders Jennifer, Giselle, Sarah Frances and Jorge will be in attendance and able to answer any questions you have about the krewe.

We will be collecting spices for the St. Thomas Episcopal Church's food pantry, which serves 650 families a week in the Northside. Please bring a new jar of your favorite spice to donate.

Speaking of spicy, costuming is not required for this event, but also no one will judge you if you roll up in a headdress. 😉

Please come!

DETAILS:
Wednesday, July 8
Starting 6:30pm

Mainline Brewery
1603 Ownby Lane
Richmond, VA 23220

Giselle is first and foremost Jennifer’s sister. Everyone knows it. She has been to Mardi Gras a bunch, and it newly delights every time. Standing in front of a live marching band makes her cry. She recommends you get your own order of beignets because she won’t share hers. Please don’t take it personally. She is polite and fun and likes to boogie. She wants you to be having fun, too. She is lucky to find herself as a Krewe d’Eclat founder. Lucky for you! She’s a designer and marketer by trade, and admits she needs a deadline. It’s ok. It’s how she gets shit done.
